That veil's there for a reason, darlin':
While not specifically referring to the rapes, brutal attacks on four women for which a group of young Lebanese men received long jail sentences, Sheik Hilali said there were women who "sway suggestively" and wore make-up and immodest dress... "and then you get a judge without mercy (rahma) and gives you 65 years"...
In the religious address on adultery to about 500 worshippers in Sydney last month, Sheik Hilali said: "If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it...whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat?
"The uncovered meat is the problem."
The sheik then said: "If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occured."

1.) Gutting the Patriot Act.
2.) Resisting having NSA wiretapping of terrorists.
3.) Cutting-and-running form Iraq, which will only embolden terrorists.
"Stop making us rape you." This kind of ideology must be resisted.
Archie Simonson was recalled for a similar statement back in, I think, 1978. Doubt that anyone will "recall" the Mufti.
Everyone commenting on this story has overlooked his implied insult to cats.
Radical Islam alert.
I guess to him, women are just meat that must be covererd.
Rape is about exerting power over women, not about lust. I guess radical Muslims feel the need to dominate women.
This Mufti is trying to lay the blame on women, when the blame lies elsewhere.
Yup. This guy has rocks in his head.
But then, if the mufti didn't leave his room and never talked, we wouldn't be burdened by his aggressive idiocy.
Schmuck.
Redundancy alert!
There is some lust involved.

Muslims brace for backlash
By Xavier La Canna
October 26, 2006
MUSLIMS say they are bracing for a backlash after comments from Australia's mufti that immodestly dressed women invited sex attacks.
Waleed Aly of the Islamic Council of Victoria said he was outraged at Sheik Taj al-Din al-Hilali's comments, made last month in a Ramadan sermon and that a backlash was inevitable.
In his speech Sheik Hilali likened women who wore makeup and dressed immodestly to meat that attracted cats.
"If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat?" the sheik said.
Mr Aly said the comments were repugnant and ordinary Muslims would bear the brunt of anger.
"I am expecting a deluge of hate mail. I am expecting people to get abused in the street and get abused at work," Mr Aly said.
"There is always a backlash. You come to expect that it will come. It is not people like Hilali that will suffer, it is normal kids whose friends' parents might pick on them," he said.
Mr Aly said the vast majority of Australian Muslims would condemn the comments [in public, not in their mosques /angkor].
The lust a man feels is just because a woman is such a carnal creature that her out of countrol lustful nature pours over onto him...
Hence why a woman can't sit in a seat in a public area that a man was just sitting in....the warmth of his body may make her go crazy with desire.
Oh boy....what fun (not).
Doesn't this attitude remind you of Clinton?
I think his basic response to women is anger and hatred, probably due to his mother's less than stellar reputation.
The logical conclusion will be "Stop making us KILL you."
All you have to do is convert to islam and let us rule and we won't fly planes into the skyscrapers.
If you have feral cats like that around, then you shoot those you can and leave their carcasses as a warning for others.
Mr Aly said the comments were repugnant and ordinary Muslims would bear the brunt of anger.
Then the "ordinary" muslims should be at the forefront of condemning these repugnant comments.
The more I look at it, the more this looks like the 1930s except that President Bush is putting up more of a fight than Chamberlain did.
This animal has no business being in Australia. I am hoping John Howard will see to that shortly.
Muslim males are afraid of women. That's the only explanation I can think of.
A better solution might be to have all the Muslim men cover up and stay in their rooms.
Archie Simonson was recalled for a similar statement back in, I think, 1978. Doubt that anyone will "recall" the Mufti.""
A recall isn't good enough.
This man's statements need to be put into articles in every woman's magazine. They just don't get that you cannot "discuss" with the radical Muzzies any topic.
They will have the whole world back into the 7th or 6th century if they are not stopped and isolated ASAP. I say find them an island- put them all there and let them play Survivor- Muslim style. When it is down to the last 2, let them kill each other off.
Hard to believe that they have such a perverted view of what was once a "religion".
