Talk about cajones: FreeRepublic.com's Kristinn Taylor's got 'em. How so? the conservative website led the outcry against the once popular country band Dixie Chicks when singer Natalie Maines screeched how she hated that President Bush hailed from Texas. Well, last week at the Washington première of the Chicks' decidedly anti-Free Republic documentary, Shut Up and Sing, Taylor showed up. But he wasn't kicked out, reports our Elizabeth Green. The hosts at the lefty Center for American Progress invited him to join the group discussion, where he told the director the movie was a good one.
Why go? "This was a chance," he tells us, "to see it for free."
Oprah and Larry King, both threw them cotton balls.
It was sick and both O and LK kissed their booties. It is a shame that Natalie thinks she is so smart. She did go to South Plains Jr. college for a year!
I know Oprah had the chicks on yesterday, right after Madonna and I couldn't click the remote fast enough. Oprah, Larry King, Olberman et. al. have sure done their job in getting liberals on their shows during the past month. Shills all.
self ping for later
Here's another one, a little more recent, Dr. Laura.
Oh, you don't have to tell me. In 2000, was front and center here on FR when the Gay-stapo went after her.
Just when the sliming of Dr. Schlessinger began, I discovered a USENET posting from the radical homosexual movement's smearmeister, John Aravosis, who created StopDrLaura.com back in 2000 and who currently is one of the guys behind the threat to "out" gay Republicans in the wake of the Foley scandal. To stop the production of what later proved to be Dr. Laura's ill-conceived, short-lived daily talk show, Aravosis had suggested methods to harass executives of Paramount Television until the show was cancelled, including denial-of-service attacks on email and fax accounts and confronting them when they went out for lunch and dinner.
Outstanding job.
I liked the moderator announcing you first as "spokeswoman" for FR, a "politcal blog". Heh.
Seems you riled up the audience, too. One lady calls FreeRepublic "loonytunes" and then Cynthia McKinney's husband goes bonkers on you and FR. Funny stuff.
Your demeanor and politeness killed 'em.
Makes us all proud.

Some of you've already put too much in print, but we can't redact it after the fact 'cuz pre- post- redaction web cap's would confirm which parts are sensetive info.
For now: focus.

That's right. We have the freedom of speech but that does not mean we can't get our a$$ kicked for what we say.
Check your attic for tin foil (sometimes on the insulation)...
I get my orders in my sleep.
I was imagining the guest stars of the tv show COPS, but it just didn't have a poetic ring to it.
If Nixon has anything to do with Obama in 08 I think we might need another impeachment. ha
