You have just stated what I had just replied to on a different thread.

So many talk around the subject. But the government does not, to my knowledge, restrict any embryonic stem cell research.

Perhaps some of the billionaires could use some of their money and start such a research foundation. Maybe some of the money that has been raised by celebs for aides can be duplicated and applied to Parkinson's.

Overnight, Michael J. Fox has gone from being a semi-respectable actor to a depraved pile of flaming crud.

In fact I am mad at myself for previously thinking him a decent man, when I now see him as someone who would sell his own child's soul just to push a hack politico.

HOW COULD I have been such a poor judge of character.

Fox's fiasco has turned out to be "the mother of all exploding cigars" for the 'RATS and now their toadies in the MSM are scrambling to try to stop the bleeding. It's just one of the risks one takes when they attempt an October surprise. Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you. Chow down Smokey!

Because they can't win on the issues. They have to resort to "emotions" to move those who are easily manipulated by this trash.

That is something that liberals would not find sufficient because liberals, for the most part, require government approval (read: funding) of their causes to feel validation. It's the same reason why private charities and companies donating billions to NOLA is almost completely ignored while almost all of the focus is on throwing more tax money at the problem. The same reason why private charities and shelters for the poor/homeless are marginalized while government sponsored charities are constantly being given more taxpayer money. It's as if liberals have it ingrained in their heads that anything useful and good can only come from the government, and that anything that comes from private industry is of little consequence. This is just the latest chapter in their book.

Fox is just one more use of emotional extortion by the 'rats - when they can't convince with facts and logic, they try to strongarm with pity or righteous indignation - Democrat and Demagogue - they're not that far apart at all......

The worst part of it is that he could have done an ad to appeal to people in the private sector to donate money for research and done much for his cause and his reputation than he did by allowing himself to be used like this for political purposes.

So how would Canadians respond to Americans making BS commercials on who Canadians should vote for?

Not too kindly I suspect...
