(Michael J. Fox) states,
"Stem cell research offers hope to millions of Americans ... But George Bush and Michael Steele would put limits on the most promising stem cell research."
Mr. Fox and his ads' sponsors are guilty of conflating embryonic stem cell research, which the GOP candidates and many Americans oppose for destroying a human life in the name of curing other people's diseases, with stem cell research in general, which includes adult stem cell research and umbilical cord blood stem cell research.
The only limits in question are on federal funding of new embryonic stem cell lines, requiring the sacrifice of new embryos.
....
The plain fact is that embryonic stem cell research is proving to be a bust. There are currently 72 therapies showing human benefits using adult stem cells and zero using embryonic stem cells. Scientifically-minded readers can review this medical journal article on the status of adult stem cell research. Adult stem cell therapies are already being advertised and promoted while no such treatments are even remotely in prospect for embryonic stem cell research.
The fact is that adult stem cells have already produced remarkable cures, whereas embryonic stem cells have failed. This should come as no great surprise to anyone with a background in high school biology. When an embryo is created by the union of the sperm and egg, the cells begin to divide, creating embryonic stem cells from which all future tissues and organs are derived. Within days, the embryonic cells differentiate into three cell layers - ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm. Cells in these layers continue to differentiate into tissues and organs. As the embryo matures into a fetus, child, and adult, some undifferentiated cells of the three types remain in various tissues such as bone marrow, fat, skin and olfactory tissue.

Fox's has a career?......not much but bit parts here and there.....I feel for him only cause my best friends dad has Parkinson's.....but he is being used by the Dems for ulterior motives of election....nothing more....
Overnight, Michael J. Fox has gone from being a semi-respectable actor to a depraved pile of flaming crud.
In fact I am mad at myself for previously thinking him a decent man, when I now see him as someone who would sell his own child's soul just to push a hack politico.
HOW COULD I have been such a poor judge of character.
Fox's fiasco has turned out to be "the mother of all exploding cigars" for the 'RATS and now their toadies in the MSM are scrambling to try to stop the bleeding. It's just one of the risks one takes when they attempt an October surprise. Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you. Chow down Smokey!

Because they can't win on the issues. They have to resort to "emotions" to move those who are easily manipulated by this trash.
no sympathy for this jackass.
That is something that liberals would not find sufficient because liberals, for the most part, require government approval (read: funding) of their causes to feel validation. It's the same reason why private charities and companies donating billions to NOLA is almost completely ignored while almost all of the focus is on throwing more tax money at the problem. The same reason why private charities and shelters for the poor/homeless are marginalized while government sponsored charities are constantly being given more taxpayer money. It's as if liberals have it ingrained in their heads that anything useful and good can only come from the government, and that anything that comes from private industry is of little consequence. This is just the latest chapter in their book.
Soon Fox will claim he was Swiftboated...

Fox is just one more use of emotional extortion by the 'rats - when they can't convince with facts and logic, they try to strongarm with pity or righteous indignation - Democrat and Demagogue - they're not that far apart at all......
The worst part of it is that he could have done an ad to appeal to people in the private sector to donate money for research and done much for his cause and his reputation than he did by allowing himself to be used like this for political purposes.

Liberals have gotten away with this type of thing for so long...
So what? If you don't like it, don't click it.
So how would Canadians respond to Americans making BS commercials on who Canadians should vote for?
Not too kindly I suspect...
BUMP!
Rush certainly is answering and he is not alone.
