Let's see, so far, I've wished we had John Belushi back to do an impression of Michael like he did of Joe Cocker on "Saturday Night Live", and I've suggested that the campaign motto of the candidates using Michael's ads might as well be "Bring Out The Gimp!" And as Al Pacino once said (in the course of playing another disabled character, incidentally) I'm just gettin' warmed up. Just watch me.

We're not discussing stem cell research but the subset, embryonic stem cell research. No one, and I repeat no one, is opposed to adult stem cell research (which is actually achieving results) or umbilical stem cell research. By lumping all forms of stem cell research into this controversy the Michael J Fox crowd are lying and deceiving the public and that's what the left doesn't want you or the voters to understand. That's why they're attacking Rush. Because he spoke truth to power.

My 12yo nephew was constantly harrassed by the class bully. Finally called my nephew the n word - next thing he knew my nephews' foot was in his chest and he was suddenly accelerated backwards. Something happened between the time he called him the n word and he landed on his backside because he never bothered my nephew again.

Fox didn't care about the people who had the disease before; but now that he has it...he demands the government to find a cure pronto...
Why don't these people just shut up? I like Rush. On the other hand, I can't stand their constant whining. It's as though criticism is illegal. Rush is a bad guy for criticizing this ad, but any slander directed at a Republican is okay, and any nonsense or treachery perpetrated by a Democrat is okay.

Ok Dane. I will explain it slowly to you since you are a democrat. Michael J. Fox is slowly dying a pretty crappy death. He is under the mistaken belief that stem cells from embryos will guarantee that he won't die. He is grasping at straws and trying to save his life.
His motivation is entirely different than your other fellow democrat politicians who are exploiting him, oh and Arlen Specter too. Fox cut a very similar ad for Arlen in 2004 because he is pro stem cell murder.
With advice like that it's easy to see why this a$$hole grew up to be a lib.

Ruh roh, why the vitriol towards me. It was Michael J. Fox or should I say Michael J. Embryo who under his own free will made the misleading and lying commercials.

I feel bad for Michael J. Fox. He can't win with this. I understand he is desperate for a cure and anyone who has a cause wants to show it's effects. For example I think her name is Theresa Saldan has done PSA's to show her scars on her face from a violent attack while not wearing makeup.
I just wish people wouldn't put all their eggs into one basket (embryonic stem cells) There are so many avenues to explore with adult stem cells, cord stem cells etc... Rush talked about the gene carrying virus that showed promise. I believe people like Michael J. Fox aew being brainwashed into thinking this is their only hope. Of course I realize that this is just a Democratic grandstand as well. I hate to say it but I think Rush was mean in his accusations. I do realize he has apologized and I am glad about that.
If Rush had done any research, he would have known that Fox's symptoms were bad. If you watch SPIN CITY at the end orf his run there, it was almost uncomfortable to watch him, because he was so physically unsound. I don't think he should have brought Fox into it...he should have attacked the message only, not the messenger...we always get into trouble doing this.
So I should pity him(MJF) as he makes outright blatant lies in tv commercials. So he gets a pass on his lying, is that what you are saying.
