I feel bad for Michael J. Fox. He can't win with this. I understand he is desperate for a cure and anyone who has a cause wants to show it's effects. For example I think her name is Theresa Saldan has done PSA's to show her scars on her face from a violent attack while not wearing makeup.
I just wish people wouldn't put all their eggs into one basket (embryonic stem cells) There are so many avenues to explore with adult stem cells, cord stem cells etc... Rush talked about the gene carrying virus that showed promise. I believe people like Michael J. Fox aew being brainwashed into thinking this is their only hope. Of course I realize that this is just a Democratic grandstand as well. I hate to say it but I think Rush was mean in his accusations. I do realize he has apologized and I am glad about that.
JMO, but MJF knew what he was doing and what he was doing was telling deliberate lies such as Republicans don't support stem cell research, which is untrue. All Republicans support adult and umbilical cord stem cell research and the controversy is embryoinci stem cell research, but still MJF conciously went public with a lie.
