It seems to me that whichever states have marriage protection amendments on their ballots would have a larger than normal Evangelical turnout. This should work out well for our candidates. So WHICH states have votes on this?
Arizona has one coming up in November.
South Dakota, Wisconsin, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Tennessee, South Carolina and Virginia. Some of those bans may fail, actually. The polling is weird.
There's been a concerted effort by gay activist groups (posing as non-partisan) to confuse Wisconsinites that "no" actually means "yes". Unfortunately, I live in a state full of useful idiots and many will probably fall for it.
Arizona and South Dakota may also reject bans -- if you believe the polls.
Interesting. I heard on the a caller from WI on the radio yesterday saying that while the Bishops were saying 'vote yes', there was a report that 150 or so priests said to vote no. The radio host hadn't heard of it, but if it's just a rumor, this may have some Catholics confused too.
There are tons of very liberal Catholic priests in Wisconsin. This does not surprise me in the least.
