The Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University has been renamed after Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal donated $20 million to its projects. And while that may be just the tail, the dog appears to be moving away from its historic Catholic and Jesuit teaching philosophy too.
The Center's leaders say it now will be used to put on workshops regarding Islam, fostering exchanges with the Muslim world, addressing U.S. policy towards the Muslim world, working on the relationship of Islam and Arab culture, addressing Muslim citizenship and civil liberties, and developing exchange programs for students from the Muslim world.

Not to mention the fact that even if a person could afford a Bible, the wait to receive one was very long. However, the affordability and availability was not really the issue because MOST PEOPLE WERE ILLITERATE.

As far as I know, Martin Luther didn't "invent" Proverbs. No, he "removed" the Apocrypha.

They recognize the importance of education.Gimme a break.
The muslims are trying to gain an intellectual foothold
Don't you have to have some intellectuals to gain an intellectual foothold? No, what these geeks and freaks are doing is undermining and destroying, not shaping the future.

Their notion of "shaping the future" basically consists of making everything the way it was in the desert in 6th Century, except THEY get to keep weapons (weaponry appears to be exempt from Islamofascist traditionalism and it is perfectly acceptable to implement the infidel's advances in this area to kill as many as possible).

No, what these geeks and freaks are doing is undermining and destroying, not shaping the future. They have been systematically buying signficant stakes in large media companies (e.g. News Corp) and they have been endowing chairs and making large contributions to universities, foundations and research institutes. In other words they are buying influence at the top of the food chain. No dummies they.

Don't kid yourself. THey may be incompetent in a lot of areas, but they know propaganda. They know colleges and universities are places of ideas and they want to dominate that arena. THey know a lie told often enough gets perceieved as the truth. Sure, they want to destroy our way of life and they know that if they can control the pinheads that make decisions here, the muslim job of destroying the west will be easier. That means infiltrating the colleges and universities with pro-muslim propaganda and violently shouting down any opposition. Muslim tactics are clones of the liberal PC tactics. And university administrators and many proffessors, particularly in the social studies and liberal arts, are easily intimidated by muslim bluster, especially when viewed thorugh their multicultural, moral relative frame of reference. They aren't brave enough to call the muslim bluff.

Like DePaul in Chicago, Georgetown is a Catholic university in name only.
Why do you say this? I have relatives who've attended Georgetown, and from discussions of their experiences there I have a distinctly different impression of it.
