ALL of the Ivy League schools originally were Christian. They certainly were informed by the ideas of Christianity, and Harvard, Yale, and Brown were founded as seminaries, while Columbia was associated with Anglicanism. However, Dartmouth was founded to spread a non-sectarian Christianity to the Indians, and Cornell, Princeton, and the U. of Pennsylvania were not associated with any specific religious organizations.
