The Washington Post has replaced the original article at the source link and almost completely rewritten their hit piece with a new author:

Below is an excerpt of the Original article before the Washington Post rewrote it.

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh today attacked actor Michael J. Fox for inserting his halting voice into the U.S. Senate campaign in Missouri, suggesting Fox was "acting" in a commercial where he's shown shaking while endorsing the importance of stem cell research.

"He is exaggerating the effects of the disease," Limbaugh told listeners today, encouraging them to go online to watch Fox's commercial, which first aired Oct. 21 in St. Louis during a World Series game. "He's moving all around and shaking and it's purely an act."

In the commercial, Fox throws his support behind Democratic Missouri Senate candidate Claire McCaskill, who supports stem cell research, against Republican James M. Talent. Fox also taped similar ads for other Democratic candidates, including Benjamin L. Cardin in his Senate race against Republican Michael S. Steele in Maryland and Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle (D), who is seeking reelection.

SNIP

"What you do in Missouri matters to millions of Americans, Americans like me," Fox said in the television spot, which will continue airing throughout Missouri this week.

"This is the only time I've ever seen Michael J. Fox portray any of the symptoms of the disease he has," Limbaugh said. "He can barely control himself."

Limbaugh said Fox could "control himself enough to stay in the frame of the picture" and to keep "his eyes right on the . . . teleprompter. But his head and shoulders are moving all over the place."

"He is acting like his disease is deteriorating because Jim Talent opposes research that would help him get cured," Limbaugh said, adding that Talent only opposes "fetal stem cell research, but not adult."

"This is really shameless of Michael J. Fox," Limbaugh said. "Either he didn't take his medication or he's acting."

What is unreal about my post?

I'll tell you what is unreal about your post.

You are swallowing the bait of the libs...hook, line, and sinker. You have been distracted from the real issue, which is exactly where the libs want you.

The issue is not about MJ Fox, if he was on his meds or off his meds or acting or not.

The issue is about the facts of this Amendment#2 in Missouri.

*Stem cell research is currently legal and being done in Missouri and many other states.
*Amendment 2 is named 'Stem Cell Research' although it has nothing to do with stem cell research, but everything to do with LEGALIZING CLONING.
*Embryonic stem cell research has not produced any results for even potential cures for Parkinson's or any other disease, whereas adult stem cell and umbilical blood have produced results.
*Embryonic stem cell research is the left's attempt to insure legalized abortion forever. You can't do embryonic research without embryos. The potential scenarios of horror if this is legalized are too disgusting to detail.
*There are other methods of research for cures for Parkinson's that have produced results outside of the area of stem cells...including a virus injection that MJ Fox Foundation recently invested $1.7 MILLION.

*This is all about abortion. ABORTION, ABORTION, ABORTION.

Nothing less, nothing more. Fox is being used as a sad pawn to perpetuate the murder of millions of innocent unborn children.

Getting caught up in the trivial nonsense of what someone may or may not have said about MJ Fox is like complaining that Thomas Jefferson may have misspelled a word in the Declaration of Independence.

Pity South Park already had Reeves sucking down fetuses.

I wouldn't think bad of them if they had Fox ripping babies out of the womb for some phoney disease or unconnected reason.

Maybe a take off on "Doc Hollywood" as "Doc Mengele".

Fox's lying behavior takes away any sympathy or respect I may have had for him. He's a bum.

I don't agree with Fox politically nor on Embryonic stem cell research. Then again I don't agree with Rush the any way the wind blows conservative either. Rush over blows many issues and toots his own horn almost daily so he doesn't have much room to talk. If I want to see Parkinson's in late or final stages I'll visit or work in a nursing home. Fox was off his med but that was a pretty accurate example of what the disease does though which he showed. If I want to hear a true conservative I'll find much better representatives than Rush. Rush should have retired years ago before he became a Rockefeller Republican Poster Child. Rush is simply the pot calling the kettle black. Both he and Fox use excseeive theatrics in their politics.

Yes, its about using a victim to ward off criticism. The victim is immune by his circumstances. There's a Drive By Media firestorm building against Rush Limbaugh. He really is the Show Prep For The Rest Of The Media. Rush stepped into it and is going to get the same grief Ann Coulter received for criticizing the New Jersey Girls.

Yes, both Ann and Rush are being condemned for being insensitive to the victims. Now the Drive Bys are closing in on Rush for the kill.

But when Fox goes on air and promotes Cardin, someone that voted against Fox's cause

That needs to be in bold.

I think that research has shown that 'embryonic' stem cell research causes tumors, while 'adult' stem cell and cord blood cell research does show some promise. Rush also mentioned some other type of research that was showing success, but the DBM wouldn't mention that, or how Rush came back later IN THE SAME PROGRAM to talk about what Fox said in his book about going off his meds.

His show is for entertainment only. He said that himself a long time ago. He was pretty good when he first started out but he fell into the same trap as the GOP congress. He found his success and now like congress worries more about staying on top or trying to be number one rather than producing any meaningful substance or reform :>} He like the GOP is a good example of what could have been had they stuck with it. He's now the GOP's number one on the air apologist! That ought to turn the temperature up :>}

It may be more accurate to say that this is all about the defense and promotion of dehumanizing the alive unborn ... a democrat DNC-empowerment program for decades now. Human beings at their earliest age in a lifetime already begun are being commoditized in a cannibalism of the alive unborn to benefit older human beings, and MJ Fox is nothing more than a dead-souled liberal 'begging for a piece of the victim' using any deceitful means his democrat party handlers can generate in their criminal enterprise.

The media might be dunces, but it does not do our side any good to feed right into what they want. Rush is not the end all and be all of the Republican party. Not sure about MJF at all. Rush had plenty of topics to discuss and could have discussed this w/o going on about what MJF looked like in the ad without offering his opinion that he was acting.

I think we are.

This is the same kind of nonsense, in my opinion, that followed Ann Coulter after the release of "Godless"--she had the AUDACITY to criticize the pro-Kerry Jersey Girls. All of a sudden, these 9/11 widows were supposed to be immune from criticism

It is a ridiculous form of insulationism to say that "because X happened to me, I can speak any outrageous statement and never be criticized". If such logic were applied, then anyone who had a traumatic experience would be justified in making any ridiculous argument.

No one follows that in real life...but when some high-profile event puts someone in the spotlight, we sometimes seem to put that person's words or actions "off limits" to criticism.

Notation to you from me-

Petty sniping about a man you apparently have a problem with is something you should refrain from sharing with me. Don't care, and doubt most of his audience cares.

MJF is a a Democrat activist that has admitted in past to heightening the Drama by going off his meds to make a point before Congress. It's seems pretty clear he did so this time to mislead people into voting for a Dem. Not for altruistic reasons even in his own mind, since he's supporting Cardin that voted against it. This is all about cynically using his illness to trick voters into voting Dem, regardless of where the Dem actually stands. He said lines that were untrue, went off meds by choice so he could shake according to his own script. Sounds like acting to me.

A non actor doesn't go off his medication and spout lies, he wouldn't need to. The Truth would be all he needed.

Yes, he has Parkinson's. But he dramatized it for partisan means. Which is repellant to normal people.
