Scuse me? I'm not a Republican, but I sure as hell was NOT in favor of making an innocent woman starve slowly to death at the behest of her adulterous (and possibly abusive) spouse and assisted by the leftist DemRats in Florida. If that makes me ""goofy"" in YOUR estimation, I'll damned sure take that hit!~
___
And probably wouldnt be needed if the Republicans hadnt gone goofy over Terry Schiavo.
Aw gee....the second insulting comment that I've seen coming from a conservative (supposedly) re: the Terri Shiavo episode.
FYI, I am neither a religIous 'nutjob', nor am I obsessed with this OR the Terri Shiavo's state-ordered death by legislation. I am, however, able to discern right from wrong, which is more than I can say for a few here.... apparently. And as I suggested to another "freeper" yesterday...
perhaps the DU would be more to your 'tastes'? They all bash Republicans there AND anyone that doesn't approve of embryonic stem-cell research and the forced death by legislation of Terri, who was falsely labeled a 'vegetable' by a Scientologist leftist DemRat judge.
BTW, calling someone (who is dead now) a 'vegetable' isn't exactly a compassionate viewpoint. But then, you probably already knew that.
___
I do believe religeous nutjobs that are obseesed with this, along with terri-the-vegetable (same crowd) turn me off of the republican party more than the excess spending, or even the fence.
Mark Levin also eviscerated Fox and the lies of the embryonic stem-cell crowd on his Tuesday night show. He really has to start podcasting, although I believe there's a cite which posts clips.
Next time a pro-abortion person tells you that an enbryo is just a clump of cells, and that you wash more cells off in the shower every day (typical arguments), remind them of this. On the one hand, an embryo is just some cells (in an abortion debate), but on the stem cell side these cells are SO IMPORTANT AND SO UNIQUE that we need to use these cells and no others! One argument negates the other.
PS If Michael J. Fox suffers from such uncontrollable tics, etc., then I want to see all the many, many outtakes from his recent TV show appearances. I assume they had to do dozens and dozens of takes for each line before they got one without such tics, if they were so uncontrollable.
Great ad but I didn't know Kurt Warner was in prison ;)
It sounds Gaelic. I will ask our new son in law from Scotland. He has a bad(good) accent and most people can hardly understand him until he mocks Texans. He can mock hillbillys, the 7-11 guys from Pakistan but still has the accent. Only been here for a year and half. After he gets back to me, I will post his answer.
Next time get the family to hire a decent lawyer rather than one provided by pro choice groups that were more interested in their agenda than they were in winning the case. Republican OVER reaching in that case is a major reason why their poll numbers have gone down the drain. The family availed themselves of the best legal system in the world, they just hired incompetent counsel who was more interested in making news than saving the client.
Thanks, excellent ad. So there is dad intent hidden in the small print...so like the left. Wonder if this was pointed out previously. Anyway, MO I wish you luck in defeating this thing.
Excellent post! Check out the link to the youtube clip on post number seven.
The case went through all levels of state and federal court review numerous times. If the parents had hired a decent lawyer in the first place instead of taking freebies from pro choice groups that were more interested in making news than winning the case, they might have had a more favorable conclusion. They might also have done better if they hadnt irrevocably pissed off the husband by allowing their attorneys to demonize him in the press after they lost access to her money (oops, I mean the case).
Who has restricted Medicaid payments anywhere?
If the Republican Gov of Missouri doesnt even trust his own party not to do something like that, then why does he support the ammendment? After Schiavo, people with a little common sense, have come to expect anything from unfettered politicians when they arent attending to the people's business.
Aspartane effects people differently. I didn't say it caused parkinson, but in his case at his age and parkinson...the likelyhood is extremely high. Do some research on aspartane and MJ Fox, it's there.
They want even more money from the taxpayers
You might get your wish. I get the same 'Wellstone moment' feeling with the momentum of disgust growing and brewing when people become more aware of the Fox ads. Dems may have stepped on a land mine.
and a jerk, to boot - and a whiner!
as I'm sure you heard, Rush was pretty tough on Fox yesterday and will no doubt keep pounding that drum today. Moreover, on realclearpolitics.com, Talent's numbers (and Corker's!) are looking positive today....and even Burns is showing signs of life!
I spoke to a "highly ranked elected official" very recently and the prediction that this person had was that GOP would hang on to Senate, and that the House would be very difficult. I don't know if this person has more info than we have, but, I think in terms of a snapshot of where we are TODAY, that is right on.
Of course, our votes are being cast now in early. The D's make it out on election day. Not sure what can happen between now and then, but, if we could just move that generic another two points and then convince GOP holdouts to make it on election day (and to stand in line with all the Democrap deadbeats...which is actually asking a lot from a person with a job and family), then.....maybe the unthinkable might actually happen!!!!!
Geez, I hope so. Speaker Pelosi would make us all puke.
Just like abortion and federal funding, why should taxpayer dollars be used on something that many taxpayers do not support ? It has nothing to do with the legality or illegality of ESCR. ESCR is legal; it just can't be funded by taxpayers.
Amendment 2, however, has to do with the legality of human cloning and the use of taxpayer funds for same.
Get it now ?
You clearly have no idea what this amendment is. Check your facts.
Amendment 2 would provide for the legality of cloning humans, and as such would certainly make the MS legislature appropriate tax dollars to fund the research.
It's a MS constitutional amendment trying to be passed by the Dems, not conservatives. You need to understand an issue before you spout off about it.
