A friend of mine just got a union job. She has the day off, and is recruiting others to get out the vote that date. It is disgusting.

Thanks for the early morning "encouragement". This kind of "news" is disheartening for the non-fanatical Pubbies and could hurt our turnout.

When many in our "base" is staying home because they are pissed off, this constant barrage of doom and gloom sure isn't going to drive your everday, ho-hum voters to the polls.

"all depends how massive the voter fraud is in st louis & how much the dim machine there can ge by with....."

all the races depend on how much fraud a whole bunch of smug, treacherous, democrat operatives can get away with. (may every voting operation in the country be flooded with sunshine.)

My husband is union and you wouldn't believe the amount of mailings we get. It seems like every 3 or 4 days there is something. Oh, and the union magazine they publish is done in Spanish and English.

RCP now Dems+4.

That's a move of two in two days. I wonder where it will be by Nov 7?

As the November election approaches, and with the artillery spent, the pundits will take to their bayonettes against Republican candidates. MSM stories will multiply to fill the media in favor of Democrats and against their opponents. And the polls will, as in 2004, purport to report a snapshot prediction of election outcomes. It will get worse. But, understand this Republicans...

... the only votes that count in the end, are those cast.

Just vote!

A lot of the unions build it into their contracts.

I thought it was 21 Republicans and 12 Democrats up for re-election in 2008.

I can't believe that Rick is down by so much in PA. I also believe that Talent will win. This is why I have trouble with polls.

Alert: Jim Caveziel and Patricia Heaton and a couple of atheletes have taped an anti-embryonic cell ad that will play during the World Series. This should help Talent.

It was Voinovich, the other senator from Ohio. DeWine is no great shakes but Brown is a DISASTER.

You could be right. I should have looked it up rather than from memory (bad move). I like your numbers better!

True if this poll is accurate. We shall see next week. When all the large polls like Battleground, RCP, Zogby, Rassm. end up with their averages, we will see that but then pray for huge turnouts by Pubs.

These are averages of polls, correct?

Useless.

Don`t understand the Tester vote except Burns is a bit of a dufus. Tester is an empty suit with a really bad haircut. GWB will be in Montana next week which should help.

There's only one poll that matters, and it's held in November.

Most of these contests are within the margin of error or close to it. It's all about which side turns out it's base. As in most mid term elections, the so-called moderates will likely stay home. That's why you're seeing so many polls in the lamestream media: to discourage the conservative base from showing up.

I live in a bright blue Demo stronghold in Arizona. No particular signs of intensity here either. The local fishwrap newspaper runs pro-DemonRAT editorials on its front page as per usual but few yardsigns, bumperstickers, etc.
