"...runs a bookstore in suburban Columbus" Oops, the story just got really stinky now.
Not to say that owning a bookstore makes one a liberal per se, but I doubt this guy was ever Conservative.

I wonder how many other times Mr. Gaylord has been trotted out?
I seem to remember a report during the 2000 election of seminar voters.

Unreal. I remember in one of Ann Coulter's books she exposed that the NYT had used the same man in the street interview something like a hundred times. She did a lexus-nexus search on his name and found out this "man in the street" was ubiquitous. I'm sure that was pure coincidence.

This the last desperate attempt of the liberal media. They know their influence is declining like their profits and have pulled out all stops for the democrats.
This is the last desperate gasp of the liberal media leviathon.

I happen to agree with the interviewee.
Gaylord: "We've had a Republican congress for some time, and of course a Republican in the White House, and I just don't see us going in the right direction." The problem is that the pubbies are going in a Democrat direction. Now why in the world would I want to put the real Democrats in power when at least I have a chance for change with the pubbies?

Whoa... I used to live in Columbus and I never found a conservative or Republican working in a bookstore. You could usually tell which cars belonged to the employees by the number of hateful leftist bumper stickers on the car.
To divine this guy's ideology, ask him how many copies of Unfit for Command he sold and how he promoted it.
I found it in a small independent bookstore at the shopping center at 23 and 270 near WOrthington Ohio. Two clerks literally walked away from the cash register rather than ring it up. Finally, the manager did the honors.

David Gregory....
This is what I predict will happen. Voters who vote in the mid-term elections are usually the educated voters on our side and are sick and tired of the media and their propaganda campaign. The Foley scandal was a dud (as usual) and the only thing the media can do is try to talk down how great the economy is and for us to focus on the war in Iraq.
The Republicans hold onto the House and Senate, Democrats says it is a conspiracy and nobody on the Democrat side asks any questions on why they lost. After the election, the Dems Presidential candidates go into full campaign mode jockeying for the Left wing kook vote. They will continue to talk down the war in Iraq and say that we need change now at the top to change directions in the war.
If you feel fatigued now, just get ready for 2008. Get your armor on!

Whenever reading or listening to the MSM try to keep in mind that most is an opinion and the rest is propaganda.
For embattled Republicans....
For Republicans, analysts say, the malaise is national...
unpopular war in Iraq
unexpectedly close re-election campaign
dissatisfied Republicans....
political settlement......as in talking to these murder happy leaders? That is the problem now - talk, talk, talk, giving Iran and Syria time to train more insurgents to send into Iraq - to continue a nuclear build up. This WOT cannot be fought on the Politically Correct lines it is now being waged. Both the left in this country and the enemy use media propaganda to lose this WOT. Don't be a victim to the propaganda on the election, the GOP is not what they are telling you and the WOT is not lost.
VOTE REPUBLICAN AND STAY SAFE - VOTE REPUBLICAN FOR OUR MILITARY - VOTE REPUBLICAN TO KEEP PELOSI AND SOROS FROM HIJACKING YOUR COUNTRY - VOTE REPUBLICAN TO KEEP THE ECONOMY STRONG AND YOUR TAXES LOW - VOTE REPUBLICAN FOR THE GOOD OF AMERICA!
