Posted on 10/23/2006 7:13:43 PM PDT by EveningStar

Why have so many Americans, only now, come to realize that this war has gone bad...?

It sounds like a lot of people are crumbling under the negative media blitz.

My thinking exactly. I think the biggest problem with the American people is that they really don't pay attention to what's going on in the world, except for whatever affects them personally at that moment. So, they are easy prey for the media.

This basher has long long been a trasher of our President. No matter the topic, he was against anything the President tried to do.

365 day 24/7 pounding of just the awful news is taking its toll on the public, and MSM knows it, which is why they do it.

"Iraq is a Disaster"

So is Detroit Michigan. Why in the hell haven't we cut and run from Detroit yet?

He seems to hate Bush. Said a lot of nasty things about him in an interview I just heard.

The citing of a Newsweek poll to support a central thesis is always the sign of a quality opinion piece. Do I really need a sarcasm tag?

The Battle of the Bulge was rough too. But the Army recovered, crossed the Rhine and won the war. Of course in those days Tim Russert and Pinch Sulzberger weren't born. Their fathers were winning the freedom to allow their sons to be pampered, psuedo-intellectual, anti-Americans.

When was he in Iraq last?

I figure you need to actually see something before you can write objectively about it.

Maybe I'm being to logical.

Been this way since the President was first elected. Even before 9/11.....he's not rational.

"...Why have so many Americans, only now, come to realize that this war has gone bad...?"

Gee, I wonder why that is?

It couldn't be the incessant pounding of bad news from the MSM who have a clear political agenda, as well as a greedy need to keep ratings up by leading with what bleeds, could it?

I've missed LeBoutillier's wretched screeds. He always comes out around election time to predict doom.

My french is rusty, but I think LeBoutillier is a french word for loser.

Another gutless traitor who has no idea what is happening. What's even worse, he's supposed to be one of us.
