Jane Wyatt, the lovely, serene actress who for six years on "Father Knows Best" was one of TV's favorite moms, has died, said her publicist. She was 96.
Wyatt died Friday in her sleep of natural causes at her home in Bel-Air, according to publicist Meg McDonald. Her death also was confirmed by Bernard Johnson of the funeral home Gates, Kingsley & Gates Moeller Murphy Funeral Directors.

HR Puff and Stuff. Now there was a waste of children's television even in reruns.
Wonder if they are mentioned in that data base?

I think it's even worse in commercials. The male, father or not and regardless of his race, is almost always a feckless idiot.
The worst I can recall was an ad for cell phones where Dad had gotten everyone in the family a fone so that they could stay in touch.
His kids and wife reacted to him and this notion of keeping in touch like he had five heads.
Of course, they happily accepted the fones that idiot Dad had paid for.

Well, you can't see her right hand in that photo, but just look at where the bulges are in that silver Lame', and you can guess! She was hot, wasn't she?

You, like me, were thinking about Jane Wyman, the first Mrs. Reagan. She's still going at 92.
Jane Wyatt was Spock's human mom Amanda on Star Trek, last seen in Star Trek IV (the whales film).

'Adventures in Paradise' Man, haven't thought of that for years. It was one of my favorites too. (I was just a kid at the time). And yes, we must be getting old!!

Not dead, Wyman is seemingly still alive at 92.
