Thanks, I have not really seen any British news since Friday so maybe that is how I missed it.

Probably the sound bites I have seen from the BBC and Sky would not have mentioned this especially as it was from the Daily Mail after all they think of this paper as ultra right wing.

Thanks for sharing that (haven't heard it on DBM, but then what's new - I'm surprsed FNC had a little bit on about the Ford/Corker incident). You make a great point - - the Dims don't seem to think that the regulations, rules, and 'professional etiquette' are not made for them - even though most of the Pubbies and their constitutents follow them.

It's uphill now for the republicans, the only daily paper in the area is (of course) a commie rag. There is a heavy population of hispanics, and I think that is what paid off for the Salazars. Traditionally it is a poverty pocket.

Thank you. I agree we ALL need to be worried about ALL of the elections nationwide. We cannot just worry about our little corner of the world - - there is so much that could affect all of us if the wrong people get into office. Am I happy about the RINOs - NO! But, now is not the time to 'teach them a lesson'. We (America as a whole and all it consists of and the individual people) simply cannot afford to let the Dims take control of one or both houses. There is too much at stake for our present and future.

I have a Christian Indonesian who attends a Christian school in my home right now and he doesn't look punished.

In Connecticut? Great.

Not so for many other. Indonesia is on the list of countries that persecute Christians.

OK, so we have established that Indonesia is not a "Christian friendly" place. Why is this? Hmmmmmmmm.

I'll go out on a limb here......perhaps because of Muslims?

Now, to get back to point, Obama tried to obfuscate his Muslim roots, his Muslim father, his Muslim step father, and his Muslim education (in Indonesia).

Now, why would he do that?

Given your past few posts to me, I anticipate you will come back with some wave of the hand dismissing Christian persecution in Indonesia, the fact the Obama was raised a Muslim, and that the sky is blue.

There would be a lot of broken TV screens if all of us who wanted to slap Kristol actually tried it.

A couple of weeks ago I suggested that we hook up the talking heads to a shock belt as is used in aversion therapy (think the invisible fence for dogs).  Then give us remotes where we can zap them if they say something really stupid.  They would either end up quivering puddles on the floor or as a pile of ash, depending on the amps they let us play with. 

It would only work with some kind of voting system. 

"OK, Kristol.  You're over 10,000 negative comments.  You get a jolt for being a jerk... ooooooo, Juan, you just passed 65,000.  Hang on!"

Well, looks like we got no real news from the shows, but interesting information on St. Obama has turned up. A very worthwhile thread!

Unlike snugs, I made only soft tacos for supper, and an apple crisp which we will eat later with coffee.

I have switched to the Food Network as Fox is rerunning their show with Greta in the Amish country and I found it so offensive that I switched the channel.

Of course now I am watching that obnoxious Bobby Flay, but at least he isn't trading on the deaths of children.
