The Talk Shows
Sunday, October 22nd, 2006
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Sens. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., John Warner, R-Va., Joe Biden, D-Del., and Carl Levin, D-Mich.; business mogul Richard Branson.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sens. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., and Elizabeth Dole, R-N.C.
THIS WEEK (ABC): President George W. Bush; Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.; professional bowler Kelly Kulick.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn.; Sens. Jack Reed, D-R.I., and Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas; former Secretary of State Alexander Haig; former national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski.
Some of the faces of a Democrat controlled Kongress.
John Conyers, the would-be Chairman of the Judiciary Committee | Barney Frank, the would-be Chairman of the Financial Services Committee | Henry Waxman, would-be Chairman of the Government Reform Committee | Alcee Hastings, the would-be Chairman of the Intelligence Committee |
John Dingell, the would-be Chairman of the Energy & Commerce Committee | Charlie Rangel, the would-be Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee | David Obey, the would-be Chairman of the Appropriations Committee | George Miller, the would-be Chairman of the Education and the Workforce Committee |
Screaming leftists lecturing and pointing fingers at us because we're Americans, we're bad and we deserve anything that befalls us.
And of course, it would also mean Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Murtha. And the Speaker of the House is 3rd in line for the Presidency if anything happens to the President and Vice President. Put aside Conyer's plans to impeach both Bush and Cheney for "lying us into war." The Democrats would be the innocent beneficiaries of someone who got inspired by the idea of regime change. Osama, maybe?
Nancy Pelosi, would be Speaker of the House and 3rd in line of Presidential succession | John Murtha, would be House Majority leader |
He was also a supporter of clinton during impeachment.
I especially liked;
...Biden who IMHO is long on phychopathy and short on intelligence.... ...
a surplus of men of military age with nothing to do and hopes of power....and
...hostile people who want to actualize their hostility...strangers are their best target.
Brilliant stuff here.
Sounds great a link on the dose to them would also be appreciated I am sure.
Good points Morgan, and I think they apply everywhere, not just CO. FWIW and in case you haven't seen thewse, here's what is being said about CO races:

AND (note: rcp has 3 of CO house seats in the top 50 key House seats in play:
Colorado 7 (#6 on rcp list)
Polling Data
Poll Date Sample O Donnell (R) Perlmutter (D) Und Spread
RT Strategies/CD 10/08 - 10/10 991 LV 47 47 5 Tie
Mason-Dixon 10/03 - 10/07 400 LV 39 45 11 Perlmutter +6.0
Reuters/Zogby 09/25 - 10/02 500 LV 34 45 21 Perlmutter +11.0

SurveyUSA 08/18 - 08/20 535 LV 45 45 6 Tie
(October 13) The recent Mason-Dixon poll indicating ODonnell pulling to within 6 points and the RT Strategies/CD poll showing this race tied has caused us to reconsider our October 4th analysis that basically gave this seat to the Democrats. ODonnell looks to be making this race competitive at the close here, but at the end of the day there are just too many factors working in Perlmutters favor for us not to think this is a strong likelihood for a Democratic pickup.

Colorado 4 (#28 on rcp list)
Polling Data
Poll Date Sample Musgrave (R) Paccione (D) Und Spread

Mason-Dixon 10/03 - 10/07 400 LV 46 36 12 Musgrave +10.0
SurveyUSA 09/18 - 09/20 424 LV 46 42 5 Musgrave +4.0
RT Strategies/CD 08/27 - 08/29 996 RV 47 41 12 Musgrave +6.0
SurveyUSA 08/13 - 08/15 452 LV 46 42 4 Musgrave +4.0
Strategic Services (D) 05/31 - 06/05 600 LV 47 46 n/a Musgrave +1.0
(October 21) Even though this a relatively conservative district having delivered 58% for President Bush in 2004 Musgrave was always considered a potentially vulnerable incumbent because she only pulled 51% in 2004 after originally winning the seat with 55% in 2002. This race is currently #28 on RCPs House list and may have to drop lower if Musgrave continues to poll as impressively as she has in the last two public survey which both show her with 10 point leads. The DCCC pulled a significant amount of ad support for the Democratic challenger about two weeks ago which might have shut the door on Pacciones upset hopes.

Thanks RG. Understand this is not until 2008 but I've got to start somewhere. Gotta schmooze, line up my ducks, yada, yada. But I'm gonna do it. I might fail but I gotta try.
. Unfortunately I do. And they are crossing the Mexican border now. Currently best guesstimates are about 6,000 per year are already in the U.S. and have assumed the roles of sleepers.
I'll have to look, but there were reports several months ago of the rest of the family being very pissed at Pinch and threatening to take his toys away from him. These stories described the real powers in the family as romping around Europe and living lavishly off of their wealth, but he's costing them money!
That's where I understand the rumors of selling the paper are coming from. They picked up this week after the huge losses in ad revenues at the Globe were announced, which Pinch bought a few years ago for over a billion. It's now worth considerably less from what I'm reading. And the talk of cutting staff at the Globe has caused folks like Ted Kennedy and John Kerry to very publicly criticize his mishandling of the Globe since taking control.
Clearly that's just rumor.
Thanks!
This is incredibly picky and not worthy of either of us, but I wish YOU would worry about periods and punctuation.
It is not easy to read your run on sentences and if you want to make your points more accessible, you might consider this suggestion.

Hoo, boy! Liz Trotter on Fox is totally trashing Katie Couric. Says that she is NOT a reporter, everyone resents her, feminization of news, they wanted a woman, gender politics, it will fail. HAHAHA!
There would be a lot of broken TV screens if all of us who wanted to slap Kristol actually tried it.
LOL... I think Lugar longs for a Republican minority. The more moonbat Dem's you got... the less RINO he looks.
Ummmm Trigger?
and the principal export of Bolivia...
Errrr Bolives?
I think the happiest time in my lib, yellow dog dem's friend's life was Watergate. She and her lib friends had a party on the anniversary every year. I do not joke.
I'm not sure when they finally gave that up. Maybe during the Clinton years when they thought they had it back.
Belerophon and tin.
