"He looks good on TV!" LOL! Perfect for the Southern audience!
Watch it at the link.... http://powerlineblog.com/archives/015611.php
LOL LOL LOL !!!!
I was talking with my sis the other day about what the GOP should do. We both agreed HUMOR is our best weapon.
First, libs can't take a joke.
Second, they're so easy to lampoon!
Finally, it plays well with the base. I think maybe the best ad of all time was the Club for Growth ad against Howard Dean:
---a farmer says Dean should take his "tax-hiking, government-expanding, latte-drinking, sushi-eating, Volvo-driving, New York Times-reading ...".
The farmer's wife then finishes the sentence: "... Hollywood-loving, left-wing freak show back to Vermont, where it belongs."
Today I would add: "terrorist-coddling".
Wow, thanks.
We need to send this to that jerk IMUS.
He's one of Ford's "good friends."
Don't tell me.
Because he "sounds good on the radio"?!
Because he "sounds good on the radio"?!
That young man is smooth on TV or radio!
Smooth enough to get about 46% of the vote on 11-7!
In that litte stunt Ford pulled yesterday, he said something about Corker's ad "about my looks". I had no idea what he was talking about. Was it racial? Egads!
Now I know he was referring to this ad. Bad move on Ford's part. Voters---especially Southerners---don't like bad sports.
Now, here's a guy that the DemocRATS should be hyping instead of Obama if looks are their primary criteria.
Harold Ford, Jr. is a cutie! Doesn't mean I would vote for the dude because he clearly shows his arrogance but ...
He does look good on television!
Not from Tenn but Ford isn't as bad as the rest of the dims. You can see he would like to espouse a more conservative line but the leadership won't allow. I still think he'll lose and that's a good thing.
God, I'm sorry I missed that ad. Perfection.
You'll like this ad.
That's a great ad, makes a few simple points and BOOM - Ford looks like a jerk.
Harold Ford, Jr. for Mayor of Memphis. If it was good enough for Elvis, it is good enough for Harold. He would probably be a great mayor.
I'm not from Tennessee either.
HA! You are so right! They don't have a sense of humor, this ad hits it on the nail head! LOL!
Looks like the strategy is to turn him into a cartoon character - which is essentially what he is: http://www.gopsenators.com/video/?ID=8EAD0CB1-EE47-4B69-87B6-FDC0CE56C9C4
Does he look french?
