Muslim activists called on Pace University yesterday to crack down on hate crimes after a second copy of the Koran was found in a toilet at its Manhattan campus.
"This incident meets the legal definition of a hate crime," said Aliya Latif, a member of the Association of Muslim American Lawyers. "Indeed, this is no different from placing a burning cross in front of a house or painting a swastika on a locker."
The discovery of the holy book in a toilet at Pace's lower Manhattan campus on Oct. 13 follows a similar act at Pace on Sept. 21.
Earlier this month, someone scrawled racial slurs on a student's car at the Westchester County campus and on a bathroom wall at the campus in lower Manhattan.
Pace officials had no immediate comment yesterday but have referred the matter to police. NYPD spokesman Detective Kevin Czartoryski said the investigation into the Koran desecrations

I just watched United 93. Those passengers had guts and like someone said, they were the first "soldiers" in this WOT. Watching how they depicted those Islamofascists, how they celebrated the hits on the WTC, how they killed the pilot, co-pilot, that passenger and flight attendant made me absolutely disgusted.
I have NO sympathy for Islam. They can call Christians and Jews pigs, apes and this nation is the "Great Satan" but they want to kill anyone who speak against their bloodthirsty "religion"? We shouldn't trust any of them.
That would be called 'artistic freedom' and would have a one month showing at the Met.
This Koran owner shouldn't have blocked someone else's toilet with it, but his use of the Koran was far less destructive than the usual devout Koran owner's use of it.

On the contrary, concerned Americans should start leaving pages of the holy book in EVERY urinal, every day. Time to show them how we truly feel about their "religion" of hate.

I am particularly disturbed at people showing hate to toilets like this. How disresepctful.
And think of the poor sewer and sanitation workers, having to see something like a koran.
And a rat may see a koran too. The poor animals!
