Its time to vote straigh Democratic ticket [Zot!]

Posted on 10/20/2006 3:44:01 AM PDT by Polliwag

I can say without an iota of hesitation or regret that I will cast a ballot for a Democrat for only the third time in my 26 years of voting. The only Democrats I ever voted for were Ann Richards for governor on TX against that quack Clayton Williams and for Lloyd Bentsen for Senator from TX.

Due to my total disgust with the way the Federal and the state governments have conducted themselves and how they have failed to act in the interest of this country, I will proudly vote a straight Democrat ticket this year and as a vow to myself, for the next 20 years.

The only exception to this is that I will vote for Kinky for governor because he is the only one I don't view with contempt over their past actions.

Now if only 30,000,000 others out there who are fed up with the corruption, the inaction on border security, the mess in Iraq, the immigration issue, the ever worsening health care fiasco in this country, the incredible spending binge undertaken by Bush and Congress, the Internet gambling ban and the contemptible and disrespectful way in which the GOP views the American public (except for those writing them big checks and paying for all their luxurious lifestyles) will do the same thing, we can start the revolution that will begin to turn this sinking ship around.

So? Are you against voting gay Democratic ticket?

You're just a heteronormative homophobe.

You're tiresome.

I wasn't defending the troll. I was defending the right to free speech and the right to be offended by others.

Have a good rest of the day and a good weekend. It can't be easy for you, living in the Peoples Republic of Maryland, I did that myself for too many years.

Fair enough.

Let's bury the hatchet, eh?

Hey Pal, the polls are phony and the demoRATS are not going to come close to winning either house. Kill yourself now and end the misery of 2 more years of GOP rule.

Remember that the Ds have had about 50% of the elected seats in Gov't all that time before you decide the Rs are 100% responsible. I plan to split my vote. One vote for Don Young (R) and one for, uh, oh, there is only the one office on the ballot. Oh, well, maybe next time.

Buford's good people.

I'm sure he is. And I would have never suspected he was a misogynist, Hell, I've got a cousin that's ambidextrous and you would never guess as to look at him...

LibLieSlayer was right, things have been a bit tense, so my apologies for shooting first and asking no questions later.

Nothing like a 2-year-old troll holding a typical 2-year-old temper tantrum just before getting the full-force zot.

Just for the sake of argument, let's roll through your "arguments" like Karl Rove taught me:

Now if only 30,000,000 others out there who are fed up with the corruption...

Does Dingy Harry Reid ring a bell? No? He hid the ownership of a piece of property for 3 years while he worked over a local zoning board to reverse a decision, netting $1.2 million in the process.

Oh, that isn't enough? How many Pubbies stuffed $90,000 in their freezer? Oops, that was DemonRAT William Jefferson.

...the inaction on border security,...

You think you're going to get any positive action from the DemonRATs, who want to make every Mexican citizen an American citizen? The only action the 'RATs will take is to set up way stations to give the illegals MREs and water from the disbanded military.

...the mess in Iraq,...

Guess I'm the only one that remembers that President Bush said we would make our enemies fight each other. If we had implemented the 'RAT/Russian Soviet/UN plan, we would have not one but 2 budding nuclear powers right now.

Say, would you like to put Saddam back in power, maybe restore his "non-existant" WMD programs?

...the immigration issue,...

If you thought that President Bush and the RINOs were bad, wait until you get a load of the DemonRATs' plan - no-waiting-period citizenship as long as one pledges to vote straight-'RAT.

...the ever worsening health care fiasco in this country,...

If you think that the solution is HitleryCare, take a walk north and see what a mess Canadian health care is.

...the incredible spending binge undertaken by Bush and Congress,...

You almost got me there. Only problem is, the DemonRATs would be spending even more, just not a dime on keeping America safe.

...the Internet gambling ban,...

That was Bill "Cave Jr" Frist's parting "gift" to the Senate. The same ban would have been passed by the DemonRATs.

...the contemptible and disrespectful way in which the GOP views the American public...

Gee, you're just finding out now that politicans don't much like the people they're supposed to serve. News flash; the DemonRATs don't give a rat's <expletive deleted> about you until after you're dead, then all they care about is whether they can keep your death from getting your name purged from the voter rolls.

Hope you enjoyed your ZOT. Thanks for playing.
