CNN Airs Terrorist Sniper Killing US Soldier Del Williams
October 19, 2006
CNN aired a terrorist sniper killing a US soldier. They blacked out the screen when the bullet hit, but that did not stop the sound or description that they went on to share.
According to CNN, The graphic video of 10 sniper attacks was obtained by CNN -- through intermediaries --from the Islamic Army of Iraq, one of the most active insurgent organizations in Iraq.
Are critics correct in their assessment that CNN is full of terrorist sympathizers? Well, after their report on In the Footsteps of Bin Laden, there might be a case.
Why did the terrorist feel confident in sending CNN the footage? They did not just receive one tape, but multiple; all confirmed in the validity of the actions that the sniper took.
One of CNNs analysts called the sniper attacks the most effective thing they have seen. The deadly tactic is one the U.S. military also uses to take out insurgents, according to CNN. They seem be telling them how good they are at using our strategies to kill our men.
Whether someone agrees with the war or not is immaterial. The point is that some people have the audacity to kill our men and send our news organizations the footage to show of it. That takes a lot of chutzpah for any enemy that America has. It takes even more for an American owned company to broadcast.
I know that there is freedom of the press, but has CNN ever heard of decency? Do they think because they are Friends with the enemy that that will stop them from kidnapping one of their journalists? Perhaps it was just a showing to beat the competition, but maybe the competition has enough class not to show an American being gunned down by a terrorist.
I understand. I'm also coming to understand that you and many others are doing just that: Venting your anger and frustration. Unfortunately I was taking the comments about shutting down media outlets and shooting journalists seriously.
Well, at the time it sounded like a good idea. Fortunately after a cup of coffee my sentiments become a bit more moderate. : )
And yet they expect US soldiers to save their skins if Iraqi terrorists target journalists. How evil.
Didn't Ted Turner make a recent public statement that he couldn't decide which side he was on? Maybe if they lopped off the head of someone he cared about he'd have a clue.
I just got off the phone with DirecTv and requested the same. The guy I spoke with was pretty ticked off about it and is working with "upper management" to have DirecTv send a clear message to CNN that their subscribers are unwilling to pay for their garbage in the basic packages.
What CNN did is disgusting and treasonous and makes me furious and sick!
I encourage everyone to contact their subcriber and voice their feelings as well. We can't sit idly by (like the French) and watch these enemies (and that's what they are) destroy our country. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Lets let CNN know how we fill about this.
Lets not let CNN know anything about what we think, lets just stop watching CNN. You know when you go there what you are going to hear so, why bother.
CNN is as bad as AIR AMERICA, the only difference are the host with a little difference on the Democrat spin of the day.
Three emails and blog.
Want do you any good, you are wasting your time.
In all honesty, has CNN changed any for the past ten yrs. It's the same old blame America first net work and will remain that way.
Did the terrorists ask CNN to show the tape? I believe they did.
Does airing the tape give "aid and comfort" to the terrorists? I believe it does.
Did two or more people witness the airing of the tape? Most definitely.
How is the airing of the tape not treason, as such term is defined in the Constitution?
Absolutely sickening
