House Intel Chair Suspends Staff Member

WASHINGTON -- House Intelligence Chairman Peter Hoekstra has suspended a Democratic staff member because of concerns he may have leaked a high-level intelligence assessment to The New York Times last month.

In a letter obtained by The Associated Press Thursday night, Rep. Ray LaHood, R-Ill., a committee member, said that an unidentified staffer requested the document from National Intelligence Director John Negroponte three days before the Sept. 23 story about its conclusions

You would think that there already would have been a backlash by some of the Log Cabin Republicans..and their more enlightened counterparts by now...

I do not understand why they have let the DEMS be so nasty about "gays" during this whole thing..and yet we have heard nothing from any gay groups.

I also have been surprised...(not upset),at how many gay people there are as aides to Congresscritters...Dem and GOP...I just had no clue that so many had such possibly influential jobs..
