U.S. tracking N. Korean ship with banned military equipment: CBS News
Kyodo ^ | Oct 19

Posted on 10/19/2006 4:57:04 PM PDT by maquiladora

U.S. intelligence has detected the departure from a North Korean port of a North Korean ship suspected of carrying military equipment banned under a U.N. sanctions resolution against Pyongyang's Oct. 9 nuclear test, CBS News reported Thursday.

The United States is tracking the ship, CBS said, noting that it remains uncertain exactly what the ship is carrying and where it is headed.

Sink their ships. Shoot down their planes.

Blow up their trucks and trains.

That should make things interesting.

I think you are right,,it was the fall of 62 not 63. I remember having a test and not being able to study thinking I wouldn't be around in a week. And watching the news.

Does anybody doubt that Kim Jong Il wants a war?

I think he wants a war between the US and China. He is a jerk but not an idiot. He knows full well that a war between him and us would be a disaster and the end of his regime. Kim is like the dirty-faced street urchin who shouts provocations at a passerby and when the target responds, runs and hides behind his big brother. Only problem is, big brother may not want to get in a fight just yet, especially with the US.

You think we approached CBS [and other agencies] with this information without the intention of making it public?

And do you honestly believe that North Korea needs CBS to inform them that were tracking their vessels? They know what every single move they make is being watched.

China Tells Kim Not To Carry Out Second Nuclear Test

A sign of serious deterioration in the relationship was provided by the overseas edition of the Communist Party mouthpiece, People's Daily.

"North Korea's nuclear test touched China's warning line," said the paper. "If North Korea doesn't cease from behaviour that might worsen the situation… China might stop providing oil and grain to North Korea."

The threat was contributed by a senior researcher at a government think-tank. Although it represented his personal opinion, the newspaper has historically been used by the party to hint at changes of policy and the piece was unlikely to have been published without serious consideration of its implications.

.

Dubie,

Gee, I sure hope North Korea does not find out we are tracking their ship... asshats at CBS.

Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld DELIBERATELY leaked the story themselves.

They just want to publicize to the world ... China, Russia, North Korea ... what our intelligence is ...

And that Bush is warning that this "Chinese-Korean Ship" (a geopolitical pawn WILL be taken down ...

Never fear. Rice and Rumsfeld "war-gamed" this scenario probably a year ago ... and the assest have been in place for three months to deal with this situation/scenario.

Oh COME ON!!!!!

Its headed for France, to load up on Pate Fois Gras and Hennesey Cognac, two indespensible luxury items, before the UN Sanctions take hold!

The French intend to bring Kim Jong Il to his knees by cholesterol alone. And you know what? They just might do it long before the UN does.
