No, first we have to have the changing of sets, outfits, and hairdos due to focus groups! I refuse to let her go before we can see her tricked out in some goofy outfit whith a "cuter" hairdo and a newer, jazzier set!
And maybe she could be forced to interview Madonna!! LOL!

I know they don't want her back at the Today show. The Diva has suddenly become a lot of dead weight for CBS.

The CBS execs forgot that Katie's primary audience of soccer moms in their nightgowns doesn't transfer over very well to a nightly newscast. Maybe if she did a cooking segment or celebrity interview....

SUITS: Katie, we've got a problem.
KATIE: Well, what do you expect ME to do about it?
SUITS: For starters, How about showing a little "cleavage"?.....

So I wonder if the Today show has better ratings now?

I saw Katie for the first time last night, in all honesty it was worse than I imagined, just awful. Hard to watch even 5 minutes and in that 5 minutes she took a shot at Bush. What an embarrassment to CBS.

DOA.
Sure was allot of wasted publicity when it was announced she would be taking over as news anchor. I don't remember that kind of publicity since Johnny Carson was replaced.

I can't figure out why anyone would prefer one big 3 news production over the others. I don't watch any of them because they're all listing equally to the left.

Wow, those numbers are terrible. I guess Eva Braun isn't even affable any more.

We are debating the over-under dates when she'll drop the jacket (and bra) and go for the silk-blouse-under-studio-lights effect ....
