Screw you trolls, I'm voting and I'm Voting all R's!

I don't know about you, but I have had it up to and including my A$$ with all the whining that is going on around here about what the Republicans have or have not done to deserve your vote this November.. I know for sure that if we had the Democrats in power the past 10 years it would be a hell of a lot worse, with or without President Bush.. I'm not entirely happy about many things that are happening, (fill in the blank, with garbage on the other threads), but I am thrilled that I am not paying as much in taxes as I would have with (fill in the blank with any jackass in the Democrat leadership).. And I am grateful as all get out, that we are not ducking terrorist bombs in my neighborhood, or anywhere else in these United States..

I think I can say without any reservations that Roberts and Alito are a whole lot better than anyone that Leaky Leahy or Turban Durbin would have approved.. And what about our military? Would we still have one if congress wasn't in our control?

Give me a friggin break, I haven't found one single person that makes all of my dreams come true, (even Nicole Kidman, I think) why should I expect more than a half dozen out of 435 Congressgritters to even agree with me on most of what I want done in our country.. Hell, I don't even get that in my own home with blood of my blood that even look like me!

So if it's all the same with you.. and YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, I'm going to wake up on November 7th and make a great big special breakfast, with all the trimmin's and invite all of my kids and as many neighbors as I think I can bribe with food and feed them until they say Uncle Sam and drive their fat a$$es to the polls and get them to pull the lever for everyone with an R after their name to insure that I can sleep peacefully that night and hopefully ever night thereafter..

That's my plan, don't be a damned fool and mess up my vote with some stupid idea that will cancel mine out, just to prove that you can be as dumb as you sound!

It's not as pretty as your pictures, but it makes the point all the same....

When you learn to articulate your POV intelligently and with courage, let me know.....

Until then, bye.....

I'm gonna step into the middle of this little $h!+ storm...

Just moved to New Mexico. I've got a choice between Heather Wilson, a very moderate R (somewhat lefty) or Patricia Madrid, a corrupt liberal D.

I disagree a lot with Wilson. I disagree more with Madrid.

Should I not vote for Wilson and allow Madrid to win to teach the GOP a lesson?

I understand that the D's will impeach Bush. I also understand that just the hearings will be a distraction and put our country in danger. I also know that the D's will raise taxes and put our economic recovery in the crapper.

This election is not just about electing Republicans (who aren't thrilling me lately). It is about defeating Democrats.

I will work in the future to make the Republican party more to my liking in Primaries, where that kind of thing has its place. Once the general election is here, yeah, I'm gonna hold my nose and vote R.

If you don't, and the D's win, I will change my tag line to:

"It is Protagoras's fault!"

Well, since you either HAVE no position, or are afraid or unable to articulate it, we are all left to guess based on the things you have said on this forum.

And it looks as if your position is just to oppose whatever others say without espousing your own ideas.

Sounds a lot like the current Dem party that the majority of us on this forum are trying to keep out of power.

I think I'm starting to get where you're coming from now and why you're trying to keep us from voting Republican......

The last time I looked there are a lot of great conservatives in Congress. I prefer to give them a fighting chance.

With your attitude, more public servants, like Tom DeLay, will be rolled by the vile left.

Good, that silly lady promised to leave. :^}

Should I not vote for Wilson and allow Madrid to win to teach the GOP a lesson?

Number one, it's not about teaching anyone a lesson, and I never advocated that. Number two, is your "R" a liberal or a criminal? If so, and you can live with the idea that power is more important than fixing the problems of a corrupt, liberal person contaminating your beloved party (not to mention the whole country), then go ahead and vote for a liberal or a criminal.

As for me, I skip that race. Or write in your name. I vote for people I want to serve, and I NEVER EVER vote for liberals. But that's just me. I don't want liberals in power, no matter what party they run under.

Another point, I have never advocated voting third party for others although I sometimes do myself. And I have never advocated not voting at all, although I understand why people don't. And my comments have been addressed to STRAIGHT TICKET imbecility, nothing else. People here pretend that if you don't vote for a criminal, liberal person for city council, or even Governor, that you are responsible for the ruination of the country. That concept is past goofy.

And I'll bet plenty that no matter who is elected Bush will not be impeached or even that it will be seriously attempted. But that is beside the point.

Straight ticket voting is for the lazy, and it shouldn't even be a freakin option. Let the lazy morons push all the buttons individually if they take the option of voting for people they know nothing about.

You seem to have a misunderstanding of an election. In most cases you are given two candidates, sometimes 3 or 4. The question is not "Who am I rewarding?"

The question is "Which person on this ballot is best suited to hold office, and will come closest to reflecting my thinking?"

Writing in your own name is the same as not voting, and you know it.

You are as delusional as that crazy lady who promised to leave but returned to make up some more lies.

The truth is, you vote for liberals, the vile left, not me.

Straight ticket voters always do, and they never take responsibilty for it. they never post to this site, "Hey, I apologize, I voted for a liberal slime bag crook without even knowing it, and now he is in prison and a Democrat liberal just got elected".

I never vote for liberals, ever. Even Republican liberals.

Isn't it great that each of us can make our own choice?

Go ahead and answer, since it appears you need to have the last word.

I've said my peace.

Hey, now. You know freeper courtesy. You're supposed to ping me when you say nasty stuff about me.

Especially when you call me a liar when I never, ever lie.

Play nice, Prot. Even inarticulate ineffectual chickens like you should play by the rules.

The question is "Which person on this ballot is best suited to hold office, and will come closest to reflecting my thinking?"

So in an election between Hitler and Stalin, who do you vote for?

Writing in your own name is the same as not voting, and you know it.

I don't vote for liberals, ever. Perhaps you think Hillary is better than Teddy Kennedy, but in an election between those two, I pass.

Here's a question for you, you live in Chicago, and no Republicans are in city council. Most don't even run. They never get more than 10% of the vote, is voting for them the same as writing your own name in? You bet it is.

So your choice is Dumbass Daley the liberal, or Jesse Jackson Jr the liberal, go ahead, make my day.

Well, in an election between Daley and Jackson, I would hold my nose and vote for Daley, as although he is a democrat crook, I don't believe he would undermine the war on terror, while I think Jackson is having secret dealings with third world dictators.

See what an easy choice that is? Who would do the least harm? Answer: DAley.

In most elections I often have to choose between Senator Lugar (whom I don't like and who is behaving increasingly RINO-ish) and some wild-eyed union-funded democrat. Although I am quite tired of Lugar, he gets my vote, because he is a lot better than a wild-eyed union democrat.

Although this phrase has become a cliche, you are making the perfect the enemy of the good.

I look at the election of representatives and senators not only for what beliefs and actions they will take to Washington, but who they will support for leadership positions. I do not want the democrats to take control of Congress. It would be a disaster for the war on terror, the military, and for any Supreme Court appointments the President may yet get to make. I imagine they will also maneuver things, as they did back in Bush 41's term, so that the President will have to raise taxes in order to get funding for the military. I do not want my taxes raised, and I want the troops to get the support they deserve.

The interesting thing to me is how many of you disaffected people are suddenly on threads telling us why you aren't going to vote GOP. It almost looks planned, but I would hate to think that was so. I like to take people at their word, so I am going to assume that this is your honest opinion as a Republican conservative.

Given my assumption, you are dead wrong.

LOL! You just don't get it, do you? In your election example, one of those two is going to get elected. So which would do the least harm?

Keep talking, and I may change my opinion of your sincerity.
