You seem to have a misunderstanding of an election. In most cases you are given two candidates, sometimes 3 or 4. The question is not "Who am I rewarding?"

The question is "Which person on this ballot is best suited to hold office, and will come closest to reflecting my thinking?"

Writing in your own name is the same as not voting, and you know it.

The question is "Which person on this ballot is best suited to hold office, and will come closest to reflecting my thinking?"

So in an election between Hitler and Stalin, who do you vote for?

Writing in your own name is the same as not voting, and you know it.

I don't vote for liberals, ever. Perhaps you think Hillary is better than Teddy Kennedy, but in an election between those two, I pass.

Here's a question for you, you live in Chicago, and no Republicans are in city council. Most don't even run. They never get more than 10% of the vote, is voting for them the same as writing your own name in? You bet it is.

So your choice is Dumbass Daley the liberal, or Jesse Jackson Jr the liberal, go ahead, make my day.
