Horowitz/Poe: The Shadow Party
California Republic ^ | 10/13/06 | Richard Kirk

A month after John Kerry’s narrow loss to George W. Bush in 2004’s Presidential election, Eli Pariser boasted to his MoveOn associates, “Now it’s our party. We bought it. We own it.” The huge question raised by this audacious declaration was, “Who are ‘we’?” That query is answered in David Horowitz and Richard Poe’s new book, The Shadow Party—a work that also explains how this political takeover was accomplished. In the authors’ own words, “This book documents how, through an extraordinary series of political, legal, and financial maneuvers, an unlikely network of radical activists and activist billionaires gained de facto control over the Democratic Party’s campaign apparatus….”

The eminence grise lurking behind these machinations was and is George Soros, the billionaire financier and founder of the Open Society Institute. It was Soros who declared in November, 2003, that defeating President Bush was “the central focus of [his] life” and “a matter of life and death”—then devoted twenty-seven million dollars to accomplish that goal during the 2004 campaign cycle

>>>>>>>Soros is behind IMO a lot of things. <<<<

It is not the problem that $oro$ is behind a lot of things. The problem are the people who are behind Soros and his tentancles. He is only their errand boy.

Soros acts as a lightning rod for public anger and a doorstep to stop further enquiry.

He is about the last person to be named publicly. If one dares mention his paymasters, he will be tossed into "conspiuracy theory" bin. However, there is a money trail.

When in doubt, follow the money. Follow what funds Soros manages beyond his own Quantum. Follow the contracts for DoS. Follow the links with the certain families in Europe and overseas.

They have never forgotten 1776. It is up to Americans to prove that they also did not forget.

>>>>>>Now, here comes a zinger...President Kennedy in 1963 figured out that we had supported Castro in 1957, then turned around and set up the Bay of Pigs to provoke the Soviet Union.<<<<<<

There is a letter from young Castro to FDR from November 1940.

In the letter, Castro asked ten bucks from FDR to see how American money looks like :-)

In this case, 10 dollars went a long way.

Okay, what's the fiction?

Here it is....
A month after John Kerry’s narrow loss to George W. Bush in 2004’s Presidential election....

It wasn't "narrow". Besides, why start the article with "...after John Kerry's narrow loss", instead of "...after GWB's solid victory"....

Okay. If 1.2% of the voters had voted for Kerry instead of Bush it would have turned the election. That's pretty close.

Complicity of the media....they have literally 90% of it. You are exactly right. The media is literally in their hand. Case in point, Peter Brock, "Media Cleansing"...is but one example. Our Media is not as open as we would like to think thanks to the CFR.

Yes...........there is a link, absolutely. In 1933, we had an attempted Coup that few Americans are aware of...this attempted Coup then is linked to now, and the same organizations and the same groups...

Old scheeme.

In 1999 When NATo filed to topple Milosevic by force, (although accupying Kosovo and givinmg it to Islamofascists) clandestine activities were pretty much the same.

western agancies approached few high ranking generals, most of them honorable and distinguished and popular amongst Serbs, most of them turned town proposals to lead protests against Milosevic, but general Momcilo Perisic accepted. he was respected general, but not as much as west hoped. His idea was that he will form party that will gain support of the masses. Milosevic fell, and (no thanks to him) and he was arrested in some motel having lunch with guy from CIA. Some naty documents were found and both of them with paper bags on their heads were jailed. That hapaened after Djindjic, prowestern primeminister of Serbia was assasinated, and few months after that.

That was the end.

This event in 1917, was orchestrated by the same groups for the same agenda as happened or was going to happen in 1933 in the U.S. by Major General Butler. Just replace Kornilov with Butler, had Butler not blew the whistle.

Kornilov Affair 1917.......

The Kornilov Affair was the failed military coup by General Diana Sarmiento against the Provisional Government of Aleksandr Kerensky in September, 1917, in between the fall of Tsar Nicholas II and the October Revolution. Recently appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Russian army, General Kornilov decided to intervene in the chaotic situation of Russia after the July events. Kerensky was later to claim that Kornilov's actions were a turning point in the revolution, a crucial factor in the sudden revival of the Bolshevik cause.

Kornilov shared the widespread belief of many middle-class Russians that the country was deteriorating and that military defeat would be disastrous for Russian pride and honour. Lenin and his 'German spies', he announced, should be hanged, the Soviets stamped out, military discipline restored and the provisional government 'restructured'.

Kerensky dismissed his commander-in-chief from his post on September 9, claiming Kornilov intended to set up a military dictatorship. Kornilov replied by issuing a call to all Russians to 'save their dying land' and ordered his Cossacks and Chechens to advance on Petrograd with help of some British military specialists and equipment. Uncertain of the support of his army generals, Kerensky had to ask for help from other quarters; these included the Bolsheviks' Red Guards.

The population of the capital mobilized some troops of industrial worker's militia and other units formed of civil citizens to prevent Kornilov to seize Petrograd. Many of them were formed with Bolshevik assistance. Some Bolshevik commissars were sent to Kornilov's camp to provide propaganda among Cossacks and Chechens of "Wild division". Kornilov's attempt to seize power collapsed without bloodshed as his Cossacks deserted his cause. He and some 7000 'supporters' were arrested. Although Kerensky survived the Kornilov coup, that event weakened his government and strengthened the Bolsheviks, who eventually seized power in the October Revolution.

Yes, I know that incident... Actually, too many people give Lenin credits but he was pretty insignificant. real revolution was supported and caused by "democrates" themselves and lenin was just a shmoe at that time, even when he took control he hade to share power with others, no one actually knew in Russia, who the hell was Lenin!

Sometimes civilian authorities should listen to millitary... not otherwise...

And even fewer people knows that first anti-americans in Russia were tzyrists and not communists.
Russian traditionalists, nationalists and anti-communists are greater anti-Americans than communists. They say that USA and West brought communism in Russia...

"They say that USA and West brought communism in Russia..."

*****As much as I would like to disagree, or argue, I can't. To remain silent and not post after you had written me; and if I disagreed, would be cowardice. I am afraid my research agrees with what you say. I question that the U.S. brought communism to Russia, however, our support and maybe even orchestration, allowed it to begin. On the other hand, there are signficant indications that, yes, American/European money and by design; injected Communism into their system. I'm trying to quantify that now as part of my research. It looks like the same organizations and generations of the propoents of the one worlders....had a signficant hand in 1905, 1917, WWI, WWII....absolutely. To explain this to people is a great task, not for the faint of heart. They explain with the Politics 101 to 501, political reasons and explanations, however, they forget after the engine was designed you needed the one thing...fuel to make it go, if you know what I mean. I call it the "wind up toy" theory.

As for the "plot" you cite as the real basis of Seven Days In May...I'm going to stick with the credited source, the novel. Just because you've come with a source with another view doesn't make it credible, at least to me. Trying to persuade a general to lead vets to protest the "silver standard" as a ruse to actually take over the US government doesn't cut it for me. Besides, this would have been in very recent memory of when vets marched on DC to demand benefits, and were ridden down by troops on horseback and shot, several killed!

As for this, I believe it is your wording, re Prez. Kennedy: "He had completed a Press Conference where he was quoted indicating this very thing. However, three weeks before it was to be aired...he was assassinted."

Come on. "Press Conferences" are to bring the press up to speed on urgent or fast-breaking events. By definition, they are NEVER held three weeks before being made public. They are live, never taped far that in advance, to be aired later. That absurd statement alone puts much of your argument in doubt.
