Agreed. I was speaking with one just the other day. We were touching lightly on the economy and the war. She said "I'd rather spend money on education." I asked her why, what evidence do we have that the ever increasing spending has improved education and, in fact, haven't we finally proved to ourselves that increased spending is not the answer. She just looked at me blankley. She wanted the fantasy, not the facts.
lol..wonder if she took a broom over there or did kerry just carry her on his back?
Thanks! I remembered him signing something when he was in AZ (thought that was appropriate, except now I remember the picture and Napolitano was in the picture).
I could have been dreaming, but I'm sure I heard he's signing something big in the next couple of weeks. I looked on the WH site and didn't see a schedule. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I think the republican insiders who are totally afraid of the beltway culture shifting away from the country club.
This is the same as the state department negotiators who were angry that their permanent jobs negotiating with the USSR were gone after Reagan trupmped Gorbachev in iceland.
There are elites who WANT republicans to loose in order to keep Rove's win stategies out of the country club poltics. They don't want to win, they just want power.
It's even harder to forget the demise of their hired private detective who knew too much ........ Jerry Parks.
on the Control Congress blog- John Konop posted a story about voter ID laws.
this leftist- calls himself "LeftHook" posted this-
Is any conservative willing to confess that the real reason you strongly support a voter ID law isnt racism or fear of voter fraud-its because you believe that anybody who cant get it together enough to get an ID doesnt deserve to be participating in national decision making? And will you also confess that if the tables were turned and the voter ID law would erode the Republican voter base that you wouldnt be pushing so strongly for it?
so I responded with this-
LeftHookbetter question.
If the Dems could actually win an election on the issues, would they bother stuffing ballot boxes with Disney Characters, dead people, and illegal invader votes? Oh- and would they bother driving state to state to vote? And would they be so desperate as to start looking in prisons for a new voter base?
Hysterical that you would find fair election with integrity some kind of threat, and even funnier that wanting integrity in the elections is called racist.
Sounds like the Libs are the ones who are racist and elitists here.
You're saying that your voter base is too stupid or too weak to get an ID .and you are claiming they are all poor and minorities now- who is racist here?
Amazing how racist the Libs are and yet the minorities are just absolutely BLIND to it!
I just DON'T GET IT!

I agree. I think the Pubbies will vote for him BIG TIME!
"The fact he puts the 10 commandments on the back of his campaign business card"...
...and he puts a check next to each one he has violated!

Great points, Samantha!
How is it going w Negron his 1st week out?
LOL
Fear not, I don't see anyone ever thinking any perceived "success" of yours could be the cause of their "failure" or "a threat to their identity".
Tim Russert passed up an opportunity to ask the followup question that nobody asks Democrats when they suggest that US troops should be withdrawn from Iraq into Kuwait;
"What happens when the sectarian violence in Iraq caused by foreigners follows the US troops into Kuwait? Where do you strategically relocate to then?"
If only somebody would ask that question.
I didn't realize that, TG. Thanks for the info.
Just listening to FNS here and Kristol just said that Bush (and the Pubbies??) no longer has an advantage on Nat'l Security like he did the last 2 elections
Bill Kristol is not someone whose opinion I value.
They do with me, but I'm not a metrosexual beltway butthead either!

The first part was just as rambling, so you didn't miss much. His responses were little more than random platitudes strung together.
I may have mentioned this last week, but I have to say that I thought Ford was a somewhat likeable and reasonable guy when I saw him on Fox & Friends but WOW what a snake he was during the debate w Corker last week. I sure hope a lot of people in TN saw it and felt the same as many of us on FR that saw it.
That's probably true!
Speaking of lying homosexual pedophile MA politicians, did you catch the latest one in the news?
FR post: Mayor urges pal Scondras to get help (Boston pedophile backed by Patrick, Menino), (one of many)
Scondras BostonHerald.com Google
Scondras quote: "I am innocent of any wrong doing but I can not talk about the case on the advice of my attorney"
