My old greyhound used to lay on the sofa like a person and she always made a pillow for herself out of her bedding

Cody was huge - some called him a "field Lab", not a breed recognized by the AKC, but a variation that Lab lovers sometimes used. He was a pet, so who cares?
Yes, he did watch tv like that Mastiff mix did! What makes dogs do that? It is hilarious - and I'd never heard of another who did it. Thanks for another example (some people just never believed me. :-))

Making the pillow - that's hilarious. She does look comfy there. Sort of like something you'd expect a pet to do in a cartoon but not so much in real life. Pets can really be fun.

ohio, when those two photos popped up on Yahoo, I thought of you first. I knew you'd LOVE them. (I do too!!) I hope Laura can get to be with her handsome and most loving Prince Charming very soon. Glad you could stop on by.

If you did not provide her with a pillow she would screw up part of her bedding so she could put her head on it. Once she got into dad's bed and once again laid her head on the pillow.

"And I just read again in a tabloid that Laura had split cause she was so mad at him ... " *
I've been wondering if some less than scrupulous "paper" would come out with some fabrication about a divide between the Bush's and the Cheney's, just as the elections are coming up and the holidays.
* It is beyond me why a paper would shred its credibility with such garbage that is so easy to prove to be lies.

Greyhounds are so lean, maybe she didn't have enough padding on her head and face to be able to lie down comfortably unless she had a pillow.

Their love story is SO compelling, Gretchen!
They just make me rejoice in what God has given us at so many different levels, by allowing these two wonderful people to lead us for eight years.
We are SO blessed...........and at the same time twitterpated. ;)
(Camp David...........cozy, wooded, quiet, private getaway........yeppers. Works for me to have them together there!)

Well, on top of everything else, it was supposedly because of his 'drinking binge.'
Now.......we look at these pictures every day of the year, and see them together and in love, and him as sober as the summer days are long, and yet they print complete, filthy lies. WHY can they get away with it? Since when has freedom of the press meant freedom to slander at will?

Though I do not agree with his politics I agree with the Scottish politician that took the News of the World to courts and won slander charges. They said he had been unfaithful to his wife etc etc. He defended the case including putting his wife on the stand where she described intimate details including bodily hair which were not mentioned at all in the newspaper article which proved it was a bunch of lies.
