Al-Qaeda's chilling threat to UK

Armed and dangerous ... Adam Gadahn

THE al-Qaeda terrorist who was this week charged with treason by the US has issued a chilling video threat to Britain.

Adam Gadahn, also known as 'Azzam the American' vowed in a video message that raids by British terror cops would do nothing to "prevent the Muslims from exacting revenge on behalf of their persecuted brothers and sisters".

Gadahn is so feared in the US, the FBI has placed him on its Most Wanted Terrorists List and offered a $1million reward for information leading to his arrest.

FBI agents warn that Gadahn should be considered armed and dangerous. watch video here

Forest Gate and Belmarsh will not prevent the Muslims exacting revenge...
Adam Gadahn

The 28-year-old is originally from California, but is thought to be in hiding in Pakistan.

Last month, days before the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 World Trade Centre attacks, Gadahn appeared in a video with al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden's second in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri and was seen taunting the US about the tragedy.

And he callously praised the hijackers behind the attacks as "dedicated, strong-willed, highly motivated individuals with a burning concern for Islam and Muslims".

In the video, Gadahn says: "What I am saying is that when we bomb their cities and civilians, like they bomb ours, or destroy their infrastructure and means of transportation, like they destroy ours, or kidnap their non-combatants, like they kidnap ours, no sane Muslims should shed tears for them.

"And they should blame no one but themselves, because they are the ones who started this dirty war and they the ones who will end it, by ending the aggression against Islam and Muslims, by pulling out of our region, and by keeping their hands out of our affairs.

"And until and unless they do that, neither Forest Gate-style police raids, nor Belmarsh, or Guantanamo prison cells, nor the mosques and Imams advisory councils will be able to prevent the Muslims from exacting revenge on behalf of their persecuted brothers and sisters."

Neil Doyle, al-Qaeda expert and author of Terror Base UK, said: "Azzam regularly refers to the UK and that suggests that he is in contact with operatives and supporters in this country.

"The US move could backfire, as naming him as a traitor will only enhance his status within the network.

"There's been much speculation over his exact role, but it's become clear that he's at least playing a leading role in al-Qaeda propaganda efforts.

"It looks like he is in line for further promotion, as he's now becoming known as the voice of al-Qaeda."

" Certainly Jane Fonda's propaganda tour posing on an enemy anti-aircraft gun in Vietnam was designed to provide aid and comfort to the enemy. As was John Kerry's illegal meeting with Viet Cong in France.

Being a traitor doesn't make you special and it certainly doesn't make you a hero."

I wonder if he will get the Democrat Presidential nomination in 2040?

Hey, loose lips! You wouldn't want all our investment to go to waste, would you?

(Great way to save the $0.07 for the bullet, steveo!)

Bull. We fear him the way we fear other POS. We want to prosecute him "pour (dis)encourage les autres".

Bingo. Being a Californian, I too am aware of his CIA deep under-cover status. Shhhh...Don't let Al Queda know.

Well, he got one thing right, we ARE the ones that will end it, but he won't be around to see the exciting conclusion.

Agreed, providing the American voters don't completely lose their minds and elect some squishy Leftist Kerry-esque, Francophilic, Euro-appeasing twit to the White House or allow such throwbacks to gain anything close to a majority in either the House or the Senate.  If such a thing were to occur, we could very easily stand to lose our entire Nation,  I remain gravely concerned that a frighteningly large number of Americans do not have a clear grasp on the nature of this war or the nature of the enemy.  I do not believe that such an utterly hysterical, driven adversary has been encountered on the battlefield since perhaps Imperial Japan's suicide pilots, and the Islamofascists are far greater in number, support, resources and perhaps passion and dedication than the Japanese were.  We are in the fight of our lives, yet so many choose to play politics and appeasement.

If the American people's resolve (as well as that of our allies)  can be maintained despite the continual treasonous efforts of the Left and their eager accomplices in the media, we have a good chance of making the world a dramatically better place than it has been in over a hundred years.  A world that includes a democratic Iraq friendly to the West and a Middle East without Islamofascism would be a world bathing in the glow of harmony the likes of which it hasn't seen in modern times, if ever.  I remain positive and optimistic, but cautious.

And I'm keeping my powder dry   :-)

"Moooselimbs" he says. I'm praying he dies a hideous, slow death drowning in pig fat and roasted to a cinder and hug from a pole in Trafalgar Square.

Adam + a little time = Zarqawi.

A frightening equation, and potentially true even though it's my belief that this current Voice of Al-Queda is mainly noise and doesn't have the intellectual foundation or the ability to rally fellow-travelers as much as previous terror leaders.  I'm guessing that his handlers love to put him up on videos as an 'in your face' slap to the USA, but as far as I've heard, his fingerprints on operations and terror actions remain to be seen.

Hopefully our good friends in the FBI and other security agencies have been leaning heavily on his family in an effort to understand his influences and motivations.  When I look at him and listen to him, I see only an unintelligent angry loser who, as others in this thread have already pointed out, is in the position that he is mainly due to the accident of his birth and ethnicity, nothing more.

If we hear of major terror operations that have been planned by him, I will reassess my views but to me at this point he seems mainly to be a convenient media mouthpiece for the whirling dervishes.

Although I would hesitate to inflict such a vile and unclean traitor upon the glorious legacy and monument of Admiral Lord Nelson, or risk poisoning England's Trafalgar Pigeons, I fully concur with your overall sentiments as I'm sure all other posters to this thread do as well.

I am wary of one possible ploy, however.  He (or his handlers) may cause him to be intentionally caught for the media value.  His ACLU-appointed lawyer will argue that he hasn't actually killed anyone directly, and so if they can round up O.J. Simpson's jury they will turn the whole trial into another sick media circus, with him taking every opportunity for grandstanding and bleating against the USA, which the media will report with sanctified reverence.

Hopefully his initial captors will have enough forethought to at least have him fall off of a ten storey building several times before his capture is announced in order to assure some measure of justice.

Simple math. He is the enemy. This enemy has openly declared war against us and as been killing our innocent civilians. We must kill this guy and all those around him.

Nothing less.

Agreed, of course, and I hope that I didn't appear to imply anything to the contrary.

I heard about a WONDERFUL, high-tech sniper device that can be mounted on Humvees.  If my recollection serves, it uses long-range electronic sighting technology to allow sniper hits with a .50 cal round on targets a mile or more away.  Technology is just wonderful.

Imagine all of the aircraft carriers that we could have bought with the money that we're pouring down the UN rathole?  Makes me sick.

Hating the USA Republic runs in the family.

Adam Pearlman's (aka Adam Gadahn) aunt is a longtime communist.
