When will San Francisco learn it doesn't represent mainstream American thinking?

I was actually thinking politically...but even non-metrosexuals can be mechanically challenged. I like to do mechanical things better than my wildland firefighter hubby...who, when he was young, used to rappel out of helicopters...and is not by any stretch of the imagination metrosexual.

Guys should Evolve Beyond Masculinity. And become what. . .feminine? That wouldn't be a good move. The species would die out.

I love this sort of candy-assed liberal stupidity. It so perfectly illustrates why the Left is unfit to serve in any position of consequence in a successful society.

When will San Francisco learn it doesn't represent mainstream American thinking? I dunno...maybe when their top Fag Hag isn't in line to be the next Speaker of the House?

We identify masculine tendencies toward competition, domination and violence because we see patterns of differential behavior; men are more prone to such behavior in our culture. We can go on to observe and analyze the ways in which men are socialized to behave in those ways, toward the goal of changing those destructive behaviors. Men are prone to being aggressive in our culture, and in any other culture, because strength is the virtue that allow all others to survive. The traits of aggression and competition are suvival ones; they're messy, but tinkering with them will have unintended consequences.
Once we start saying "strength and courage are masculine traits," it leads to the conclusion that woman are not as strong or courageous.
Strenth and courage are not limited to the physical. While physical strength and courage are normally associated with men, any admirable woman you can point to has deep resevoirs of their moral counterpart.
While we associate these traits as 'male' or 'female', it doesn't matter. Either gender can have an either quality. But societies that are missing one or the other, or both, go against human nature, and will not last.
Of course, if we are going to jettison masculinity, we have to scrap femininity along with it.
He says that, but his clear intention is to jettison masculinity, and rename femininity 'human traits'. That may sound nice, and help get you laid on campus, but it's a sure loser of a path for a society of human beings to pursue.
