Peace Mom Cindy Sheehan Wants to Slap V.P. Cheney in the Face

Cindy Sheehan added Vice President Cheney to her list of Secret Service protected officials she thinks about doing physical harm to.

It should come as a relief to Cheney and his protective detail that unlike President Bush, whom Sheehan often fantasizes of killing by going back in time to when he was an infant, Sheehan only wants to slap him in the face.

Sheehan made her comments about Cheney at a promotional appearance in Boulder, Colorado for her new book, ironically titled, Peace Mom.

The Rocky Mountain News reported Sheehan saying:

"If I ever run into Dick Cheney on the street, I'd have a hard time not slapping him in the face. I would ask him . . . 'Don't you think my son had other priorities other than getting killed in a war that is too much like Vietnam?' "

Sheehan's son, Casey, was killed in Iraq in 2004. He had reenlisted in the Army the year before.

A mother's pain over the loss of a son knows no bounds. Without the forgivness of Christ in her heart, she has no weapons to combat the pain and the anger. Any person, no matter how strong, does not have it within themselves to overcome such a loss.
