If we focused our efforts on what we are called to do and not create a big Israel we wouldn't need to worry about everything else.

I don't mean to be glib. I'm genuinely curious. Some of my Christian friends feel the same way you do; but they are completely disconnected from politics.

My general experience with my Brethern (vis-a-via Politics) is that they're (deliberately) Know-Nothing fools ...
Forgeting that they're (also) Americans ... who Worship (literally) abject sorry-@ss excuses for Clergy like that (Olson) preacher-kid-clown down in Houston.
