MOSCOW (Reuters) - Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev said on Tuesday he supported tough measures taken by Russian President Vladimir Putin and wished he had adopted them.

Gorbachev, whose political reforms led to the collapse of the communist empire, said he should have squashed the challenge from Boris Yeltsin, his arch-rival and subsequently first Russian president, by sending him into diplomatic exile.

The photo of those two so-called 'former' commies speaks volumes that their goal of world conquest by using armed terrorist states has never been altered.

"Gorbachev is backing Putin returning Russia back to the USSR."

Gorby needs headlines. Evidently his asking price on the Toastmaster circuit has fallen to Ladies' Club scale. Non-profit greenies only take donations, they don't pay. Gorby isn't bringing in the rubles these days. He sure can't get a job with Pukein, he gave away the empire.

So the Lib's hero, who freed the USSR, wishes that he had cracked down on the people instead. I don't suppose that we will hear about this on the MSM, will we?! The Libs will never credit Reagan for what he accomplished. Morons!

Gorbachev is the Jimmy Carter of Russia. The Russians hate Gorbachev because he was an idiot that took one of the world's two superpowers and turned it a third-world basket case.

Unlike Carter, Gorbachev is able to admit his mistakes.

Yeah, we were lucky you were such a candy-@$$, Gorby.

You were the Sorcerer's Apprentice of Communism. Yeltsin was the real Russian hero.

But United States is the ONLY world superpower, bar none. We also have the worlds most powerfull military, bar none.

The only nations that will fully accept U.S. strategic leadership (if ever), are nations with a common anglo-saxon heritage (and even UK is bailing out in Iraq).

The rest will form alliances and in various ways and to various degrees will try to offset U.S. as the only world's superpower. At the very least it wounds their national interest. If there was no war against Islam, we would see much more polarization of the rest of the world vs. the U.S., perhaps, than it is now.

The relatives of the victims of the 1991 Vilnius Massacre think Gorbachev was tough enough, thank you very much.
