Strayhorn has now pulled into a tenuous second place in the last three polls. Also, it appears Chris Bell is either tied with or leading Kinky by one point in the last few polls. Perry's lead remains quite strong, though, so the fight for second place is pretty meaningless, IMO, unless one of the candidates drops out.

Perry will win. The support for Kinky I do not understand. Is he pro-choice? Is he even serious about governing? Would he have the slightest idea what he is doing if he were to win.

Kinky has no consistency on the issues and will throw out just about anything. Have you forgotten that he first backed the Senate Amnesty plan, then he wanted to throw millions at Mexican Generals, and now it's 10,000 National Guard Troops.

I think we need to expand the highway system and don't have a problem with the TTC as long as it fairly compensates the landowners.

Are you actually saying that if Perry would have kicked out(or refused) all the Katrina folks, then that would have demonstrated that he cared "about the average Joe on the street"?

Kinky has already said he will change the speed limit to 49.95. Face it folks Kinky is a comedian and he is looking for a stage. I don't want his stage to be the Texas Governors Mansion.
