A group of House Republicans called Wednesday for a congressional investigation into the improper handling of classified documents by President Clinton's national security adviser, Sandy Berger. Berger admitted last year that he deliberately took classified documents out of the National Archives in 2003 and destroyed some of them at his office. He pleaded guilty in federal court to one charge of unauthorized removal and retention of classified material and was fined $50,000.

Happy Days.
It's like saying "noone" instead of "no one." The only "Noone" I know of was the lead singer for 'Herman's Hermits.'
me too.
They are a year late.
That would mean a probe into his pants.
IT'S ABOUT DARNED TIME!
I've told them I won't donate a dime to the RNC until they play hardball. And what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
This is a great collection of information. Thanks.
It is about time!
Holy Freaking About Damn Time!
Double-Dog Dittos to that!
Related to Richard Clarke:
There was a 1999 Clarke after-action memo - the one top Clinton aide Sandy Berger later stole from the National Archives - identified national-security weaknesses so "glaring" that only sheer "luck" prevented a cataclysmic attack back then.
Sandy Berger is a convicted Criminal - PING.
Facts:
* Clinton National Security Advisor Sandy "Burglar" Berger Stole And Destroyed Classified Documents From National Archives:
Former National Security Advisor Samuel R. Sandy Berger Admitted
That He Had Stolen Classified Documents, Destroyed Some Of Them, Then Lied About What He Had Done. As A Seasoned Foreign Policy Manager Under President Clinton, Berger
Had Also Been Entrusted With The Highest Security Clearance Granted By The Government.
;-(
[H]e Pleaded Guilty To A Misdemeanor And Acknowledged In Painstaking, Often Humiliating Detail How In 2003 He Had Secretly Removed Sensitive Documents Involving Anti-Terrorist Policy From The National Archives, And Afterward Sought To Mislead Investigators And The Public.
(Johanna Neuman, Top Clinton Aide Admits He Pilfered Documents, Los Angeles Times, 4/2/05)
Get EVERY 'Rat scumbag under oath, especially Sandy Burglar, the Clintons, Ben Veniste and Gorelick (9/11 Omission-Commission fixers), etc. etc. not that any of these scumbags will care about lying, but if they're finally under oath then it may prove possible to nail some of them on perjury (OK, we all know how well that's worked before).
A tad late, isn't it?
He's already been 'convicted' and fined.
[Sorry, but this smacks of 'payback' retribution. Had they done it at the time, it would have appeared appropriate. They didn't.]

And what a horrific punishment that was. $50,000 is pocket change to the thieves, liars, and treason artists. Good to know how we are protected from the likes of these folks. I feel so much safer now...
I LOVE Sensenbrenner...he isn't from my state...but that man does not mess around, and does not suffer fools.
Add this to Reid getting busted today for the land deal scam, and we've got a couple of good issues for the voters to contemplate. Foleys gone, but is Reid??? Are democrats corrupt? Will they try to save THEIR criminals, or demand THEIR resignation?
Wonder what would happen if Hillary leaked some of the FBI files she is said to have in her possession? Seems to me she's at risk if the files can be traced back to her...maybe then we could see some justice done when her rear gets hauled to prison. If any of us had usurped power and lied under oath like she has, we'd surely be serving time!
It's about damn time...
