John Conyers' Pre-Emptive Strike on President Bush (MOST DANGERSOUS RAT IN CONGRESS)

At a World Can't Wait rally in Detroit on October 5, Rep. John Conyers made the following remarks: "To our friends all over the United States, that are doing exactly what we're doing here in Detroit, let's give them a big shout out! Detroit joins you in this great outpouring in which we begin the long and hard fought path to end the George Bush regime in the United States of America.

John Conyers, Jr. is a Democratic Member of Congress who represents the 14th District of Michigan, which includes roughly half of Detroit, most of Dearborn with America's biggest Arab-American community, and all of once-Polish-American Hamtramck.

From Hamtramck the Muslim call to prayer now echoes across the area from local mosque loudspeakers five times each day, the first at 6 A.M. and the last at 10 P.M. Conyers' official congressional web site allows visitors, at the click of a mouse, to read its contents in Arabic.

In January 2003 he was the only member of Congress to speak before, and lend his prestige to, an anti-war rally organized by the Marxist-Leninist, pro-North Korean front group International A.N.S.W.E.R.

MOVE-ON-OVER (Pun Intended) Pelosi. Compared to Conyers, she resembles some sweet 16 Prom Queen, from Middle America.

I’ve posted this all over and will leave it to the Mods to decide where it is best allowed.

While no doubt most of us are familiar with the name “Conyers,” and it brings instant trepidation and loathing, I doubt that many have troubled themselves to delve into his past activities, affiliations, ethics and philosophy.

For those who have, it does not hurt one to be reminded; for others like myself, this revelation is as frightening as it is appalling.

If EVER there was a unifying rallying symbol to get out and vote it should be to keep this Communist-Sympathising-Pro-Islamic-Facist-Anti-Jewish-Hate-America-First from Leadership if the DhimiRats should win in November.

It has been suggested that the Fundamentalists are of one mind with regards to future nominations to the Supreme Court and will come out in droves for the next election. I can only anticipate they will and moreover hope they have knowledge of this most “Liberal” member of Congress, who would end up as Chairmen of the House Judiciary Committee and as the article points out: If Democrats regain a majority in the House of Representatives, Conyers will become Chairman of the Judiciary Committee and have a major influence on America's courts.

I vote to make him the “Poster Boy” and replace (or perhaps place side-by-side) Pelosi--and maybe throw in George Soros for good measure--as “the” reason[s] we all need to get out and vote on November 7th.

I say this with trepidation as I am one of those “Conservatives” who is so fed up with W and the Pubs, that I had toyed with the idea of sitting this one out. However, over the past month with all that has transpired and need not repeat--and after reading this article--one might say I've had an "Epiphany," and ONLY the Good Lord calling me to sit by him (I hope, lol) in the Hereafter, will keep me from the polls and though I may have to hold my nose in my selections, the stink will be much less odorous as that which will emanate from Congress, should the Rats succeed in gaining the majority.

With no apologies for theatrics and over dramatization, I believe the Life and Soul as well as the Future of our Great Republic hangs in the balance.

See ya at the Polls an God Bless All.

PS. An Afterthought: ONLY in America, would Conyers and his ilk (who so despise and continue to work towards its weakening, if not destruction) be tolerated, much less "respected," "revered" and elected/re-elected for 40 years, in order to afford him/them them the very means by which to work towards our total anihilation.

"Beam Me Up Scotty!!"

If the dems take the House and Conyers runs the Judiciary Committee I can assure you the Repubs will win the House back in 08' in a landslide.

Interesting...

On the Conyers site is a link to this site - Systransoft - which freely translates sites into Arabic. It will also freely translate Arabic sites into English. This might be a valuable tool for Freepers to keep tabs on what the enemy is saying about their friends in Congress.

Consider this leadership lineup:

Speaker of the House: Nancy Pelosi
Chairman, Ways & MeansCommittee: Charles Rangel
Chairman, House Judiciary Committee: John Conyers
Chairman, House Appropriations Committee: David Obey
Chairman, Government Reform Committee: Henry Waxman
Chairman, Energy & Commerce Committee: John Dingell

The average age of these congressmen is 72. By contrast, Newt Gingrich was 51 and Dick Armey was 54 when they led the Republican revolution and takeover in 1994. Revolution favors the young.

Another number to keep in mind is 98--the above lineup's average voting-record rating, as scored by the liberal Americans for Democratic Action. Poor Dingell scores only 95. The Michigan congressman once served as a board member of the National Rifle Association. Obviously, this right-winger will have to go.

I've had an "Epiphany

That is good to know. I think it is interesting that the dems have become such a hateful, unappealing, disgusting bunch that, no matter what one's dissafections with how the Pubbies have handled things. the dems are just not a viable alternative.

I am an American. I love this country. How could I possible not do whatever was in my power to defeat the party of America haters, those who would see the sacrifices of our military men and women go for nothing.

The dem party actually despises our military. I intend my vote to be a show of support for our troops and their mission. This and the next presidential election will set the direction of this country for some time to come. Make sure it's the RIGHT direction.

Not at all.

As chair of the judiciary committee, he intends to initiate impeachment proceedings.

If the dems take the House and Conyers runs the Judiciary Committee I can assure you the Repubs will win the House back in 08' in a landslide.

If Dems take the power in 06, the surviving Repubs will buy into MSM/DNC conventional wisdom that the American people really want more government and hate Bush. So it will be a return to Bob Michel-era RINOism. Dems will try to impeach Bush and Cheney simultaneously, to make Pelosi President.

Being good RINOs doing the bidding of the Washington Post, and believing that the liberals are the majority in America now, you can expect 20 or so RINOs to go along with impeachment. That's at first.

Others will "want" to be on the so-called winning side of history, and any allegation will be taken as Gospel truth. Soon it will snowball, and the Republicans will throw the lame-duck Bush under the bus to save their own skins.

Unless we have a Reagan or Gingrich again, losing the majority in this election will end the Republican Party as we used to know it.

Five years from now, no one will get elected to anything under the Republican banner. In some places, it will be because the term "Republican" brings to mind the believed criminality of the Bush era. In others, it will bring to mind the reckless spending and duplicitous say-one-thing-do-another-to-save-my-own-hide cowardice of our so-called Republican so-called leaders.

I agree and as a 63 year old Vet, who also loves our country, I am committed to its preservation as the "last best hope" for humanity and freedom throughout the world and likewise, will do whatever I can to insure the Leadership in our Congress is not afforded the opportunity to ply its mischief un abated.

which includes roughly half of Detroit, most of Dearborn

This is why Conyer's seat will be next to impossible to carve out when we lose at least one congressional seat to the south after the next census.

Remember #2 ranking dem/socialist Bonior whose seat was carved out of MI?  His district had some areas to work with, Conyers's does not.

You are forgetting to mention what will happen in between. John Conyers has been salivating at the thought of impeaching George Bush. If the dems win the House in November - guess what the Conyers-led Judiciary Committee's first move will be?

If you guessed Impeachment proceedings - give yourself a cigar!
