Is Gold Star Mothers the Sheehan group, or the real group? If it's the real group, were these people really with them (they are non-partisan, so I doubt it) or did this group just steal the name?
This is the Sheehan group. Anytime you see Military Families Speak Out or Iraq Vets Against the War, you are seeing the Sheehanites.
I think the Democrats must be running a school for sleazy campaign tactics.

How is this different than Kean's political smear against Hastert, as though the only way he can win is by running over Hastert's back. A RINO gets his just deserts.
There are two separate groups. Gold Star Mothers are legitimate but Sheehan has a splinter group using a take-off name that makes it confusing.
Gold Star Mothers all lost a son or daughter in war in the military. Not sure what Sheehan's calling her group, something Gold Star Mothers for Peace I think.
I watched it again, and it was "Gold Star Families", not "Gold Star Mothers". The "Families" group is Sheehan's crowd.
