Please point out how I was 'judgmental'. I simply pointed out the facts.
I only saw the clear and valid point about how the parents SHOULD NOT have put their kids in harms way in Pakistan.
Just like I wouldn't walk into a known gang war zone downtown with my kids, either.
As I sit here working from home, my stepdaughter is watching a movie with her best friend. Sophi is a Muslim girl, as sweet as they come. Her older brothers however are typical thuggish Muslim youths and they are not welcome in my home. I believe it is within the realm of possibility that I will be forced to shoot one or more of them someday to protect ny family.
Not all Muslims are evil, but that's the way to bet until proven otherwise.
Those savage places could as easily be the school in your community.
Thanks for the link...
Scripturally speaking, when God called someone to go into a dangerous place, He generally expected the individual to take his children along. Therefore, it would seem to me that, in God's eyes, these missionaries were taking care of their children.
Precisely. ...and any parents who would knowlingly do this are negligent in the extreme.
If America is ever to triumph in its war against Islamic terrorism, we must get past the idea that we are its root cause. Specifically, we must get past the idea that a suicide bomber is just a peace-loving Muslim who, if we hadnt set him off, would be growing figs and building sandcastles. Strapping explosives to your torso, marching yourself into a crowded marketplace and blowing yourself up in order to slaughter as many civilians, including women and children, as you can is a profoundly demented act, an act which undoes a dozen or so millennia in the moral evolution of the human species. Such an act is not triggered by Americas sociopolitical landscape or by its foreign policy. Rather, it is nurtured by an intellectually degenerate culture, sponsored by sleazy kleptocratic regimes and authorized by a once-honorable religious tradition perverted to serve the pipedreams of an apocalyptic death cult. Its Muslim civilization, not America, that must change in order for Islamic terrorism to cease. Mark Goldblatt
The message is going out now more than ever.
There may not be many boxes of chocolate, but otherwise missionaries to the Jews normally live to tell the tale. Being a missionary to Israel would be my idea of a good gig. You don't have to worry about making many converts, but you don't have to worry about being separated from your head either (unless the palestinians get to you). And you get to live for a year or two or three in one of the most interesting countries on earth.
PLEASE press the issue of RECIPROCATION when you write/email President Bush. Mohammedans have freedom of religion in all other Countries and Nations, therefore, to be just and to show goodwill and to prove that Mohammedanism is a 'peaceful' religion, they must reciprocate with all other religious thought. Even the Liberal Democrat religion of atheism.
Analogies are tricky things and must be used with caution.
Best regards...
I think you've got it backwards here. The 'missionaries' who brought their minor children to live in Pakistan walked deliberately into the claws of Christianity's evilest enemy. The Amish, on the other hand, try to live as far away from the dangers of this world as possible. They do not bring their children into harm's way, they shelter them right at home.
Well said. The Muslims are the one who killed two children.
TRUE
The parents are not to blame. FALSE
The parents KNOWING AND WILLFULLY put their little lambs in harm's way to serve THEIR OWN (selfish?) egos by ministering in a country HOSTILE to anyone not a muzzie. Doing self-less God's work? BS! These parents knew DARN WELL what could happen and by keeping their kids in such a place with the chance that the kids could be brutally tortured and murdered "while doing God's work" (martyrdom??) is pretty darn close to muzzie parents who hope that someday their kid might blow himself up in bus station to achieve "martyrdom."
They threw their kids under the bus BY SELFISHLY CHOOSING THIS WORK IN THIS COUNTRY, plain and simple.
Whether you consider it to be an analogy or not is beside the point. It's stupid to blame the victim.
It's stupid to blame the victim.
I didn't blame the victim, I blamed the parents, who, it appears, are still alive, while their beautiful children are slaughtered.
The more this religion becomes barbaric the more I am convinced that the antichrist will be a Muslim leader. All the prophecies about the endtimes and the death and destruction can only come from such a religion that is so intolerant of any other belief system that they must destroy it.
Horrific does not begin to 'go there'. . .but the truth of the matter; demands it.
