Surely you don't see as analogous the Pakistan horror and the Amish horror, do you? The difference is stark, something like placing your kids in a small cage full of hungry lions versus placing your kids in a quiet, out-of-the-way meadow not known to have been frequented by wild animals of any sort for many years.
Analogies are tricky things and must be used with caution.

I won't pretend I don't see your point. I do, and I accept the justice in it. I also accept that my analogies only fitted where they touched. My Bad. Also - I agree with the others who echo your point.
I just don't want this thread to devolve into a "Its All the Parent's Fault" fest. There were several Muslim men involved who - by an odd societal reflex that we are all starting to share - are not being blamed for their actions. These are not hyenas or wolverines, but men. We have started to assume evil behaviour from Islamics (fair enough) - but I am terribly concerned that we have stopped blaming them for it. We must not treat Muslim peoples as a dangerous natural phenomena to be avoided. We must treat them - and punish them - as men.
