I think my pictures are mostly of the church group.
Of course, I do have a picture of my favorite subject. Looks like she wants to be a model this week. :)

I understand. I've often wished that I could travel across the country and stand with others showing support for our President and Troops, but distances (and work) keep my from that. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.

Thank you. I actually have two remarkable sons. One trying to demonstrate his patriotism here at home, and one fighting the enemy in Iraq.

Thank you for your kind words. I don't think of myself as all that remarkable. I'm just an American who loves his country and countrymen/women. My son's also have that love of country. The person who deserves the compliment of being remarkable would be my Grandfather. He fought in the trenches of France in WWI. He passed on his patriotism to all his children and grandchildren. We've had many family members in uniform, with some serving overseas during a time of conflict or war.
Right now not only is my son serving in the war, but my brother's son is as well. My sister's son already served one tour in Baghdad and may redeploy before the end of the year. My sister's husband's niece is also in Iraq right now. All of this came from our grandfather; may God Bless his soul in Heaven.

Perhaps on a time when we come down to Coalinga to visit my father we can drive to Fresno and stand with you on a first Friday of the month. This might be possible during the Christmas Holiday or the summer as I work for a public school district in the Sac area.

My son said "Right on!" when I shared your post. He's always rip-roaring ready to go. Any Saturday that works for all of you will work for us. Just call it and we are there. We'll send details of where to meet when the date is set.
