There is little doubt that Pennsylvania is political ground zero as one of the most important and controversial Senate races in the nation enters the home stretch this November. The seats of power in our communities, state, and capitol literally hang in the balance for years to come. The Philadelphia Federation of Young Republicans are pleased to invite the citizens of the Delaware Valley and all local press agencies to this one time special event. Please mark your calendar for next Tuesday night and join best-selling authors and nationally syndicated talk show hosts Dennis Prager & Hugh Hewitt for a special Townhall.com community event.
These intellectual giants will be joined by their distinguished guest, U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, to discuss the critical issues facing Philadelphia, the state of PA., and our Nation in these uncertain times. The event will be broadcast live across the country as our panelists solicit questions from the audience and deliver their answers real time in what is sure to be a riveting 3 hours of political discourse and high-minded dialogue. Something on your mind this November election cycle? If so, dont sit home and stew over it. Come out and make yourself heard nationwide!
Make it your mission to join Dennis, Hugh, their friends at Townhall.com, and very special guest--US Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA)--for a WNTP/Townhall.com Town Meeting! Tuesday, October 17th from 7pm to 9pm at the "Ballroom at the Ben," located at 834 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia! Admission is free, but you must pre-register as we already have over 350 RSVPs and attendance is limited to 600 persons. BTTT and Santorum/PA ping...
Cool! We need to continuously bump this. Phila Freepers should do their best to be there. It's pretty close to my office, so I have no excuse...
Anybody have a decent take on how Rick could be polling in the 30s?? Casey is an empty suit. And I haven't seen anything from a non-lefist website which explains this poor showing sufficiently.
My prediction all along was that Rick would close hard and Casey would fold since he is about as substantative as Kean over in NJ. But every single poll, including people like Rasmussen who is not a hater, show Rick at or below 40%. Rick got praise from Fast Eddie for being such an effective Senator for PA and only 40% or less are even backing him? Something just isn't right here and I'd like to believe your theory but it not something you or I can prove.
