Cool! We need to continuously bump this. Phila Freepers should do their best to be there. It's pretty close to my office, so I have no excuse...

Anybody have a decent take on how Rick could be polling in the 30s?? Casey is an empty suit. And I haven't seen anything from a non-lefist website which explains this poor showing sufficiently.

My answer...He's not.

Rick is the left's #1 target this year. They're out to get him big time and producing distorted polls is no problem for them.

I'll be surprised on election day if he wins by any less than 5%.

I sure hope you are right. Santorum is an asset in the Senate AND he is a Republican. It would be a real shame for him to be defeated.

My prediction all along was that Rick would close hard and Casey would fold since he is about as substantative as Kean over in NJ. But every single poll, including people like Rasmussen who is not a hater, show Rick at or below 40%. Rick got praise from Fast Eddie for being such an effective Senator for PA and only 40% or less are even backing him? Something just isn't right here and I'd like to believe your theory but it not something you or I can prove.
