The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has blocked enforcement of a state law that requires voters to show identification and would-be voters to submit proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
The general election is Nov. 7, The law had already been used for the Sept. 12 primary and in some municipal elections.
State Atty. Gen. Terry Goddard said he would appeal.

I thought you were right on this until "a little birdie" told me the republicans are doing the same thing. IOW, trying to secure the hispanic vote much the way the rats secured the black vote by promising the world with a white picket fence around it. Don't know how much truth there is to it.
No they are NOT appointed for life.
The Constitution of the United States of America:
Article III
Section 1. The judicial power of the United States, shall be vested in one Supreme Court, and in such inferior courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish.
The judges, both of the supreme and inferior courts, shall hold their offices during good behaviour, and shall, at stated times, receive for their services, a compensation, which shall not be diminished during their continuance in office.
Ignoring the will of the people and making up "laws" from thin air, is not "good behaviour!"
I agree.....I thought my post indicated I HAD figured it out for myself. ?
I don't pity poor people. I was one of them, and I decided to stop being poor.
Most of us were poor when I was growing up. The great depression was barely over when I was born, and our poor parents held on. They had five children, and it was not easy for the seven of us, or thousands of others just like us, to get by. We did it, but that was before government decided it was their job. Since then, lots of people decided it was more profitable for them to remain poor, and just take whatever the government could take away from someone else.
There is no excuse for this pathetic circus to exist. It does nothing but issue not only ridiculous rulings but harmful as well...
When I went to get a new SS card there was a picture of Bush, Cheney and a lady.
I asked the person at the front who the lady was. She answered "The head of our office" and then proceeded to tell me what was scary is how many people don't know who Cheney is and not only that but some ask who is that and point at BUSH!
On passports my friend works processing the applications. She's put in 300 hours the last 4 weeks.
I want to know where ids are 50 bucks and we need them yearly.
IDs in Illinois are about 10 and at most its every 3 years.
I believe the legislature can abolish or change trhe 9th as required....
They did. The judge ruled that the fact that there were thousands more ballots than voters (and ergo thousands of illegal ballots) was not sufficient to nullify the election since there was no way of showing for whom those thousands of fraudulent ballots had been cast.
It should be noted that RINOs are often more than willing to aid and abet the Democrats' voter fraud, since they rely upon Democrat voter fraud even more than the Democrats themselves do. After all, if real conservatives could get elected, what reason would RINOs have to exist?
Why don't they block ID enforcement for boarding an airline? After all, air traffic is a federal responsibility.
Why discriminate against poor folk who want to board a plane and can't manage to get themselves to the license bureau to get a picture taken?
No one who is familiar with the 9th. Circuit Court of Appleals will be surprised by this.
An act of congress could limit the 9th Circuit Court's jurisdiction to Alcatraz Island. And it should. With them as the sole residents.
I wish I could remember! IIRC, Rossi won the case, but they would not remove Gov. Fraudoire so it was irrelevant. I guess I quit following when the republicans gave up .......... again.
LOL! They don't care if OUR votes are negated. That is their goal.
the balance of power is just little heavy on the judicial Branch side doncha think ?
This is amazing to me. In Louisiana, of all places - lol, we have to show a photo ID when we vote. I live in a small town where everyone knows everyone. The people working at the polls know all the local people who go in to vote and we still have to show a photo ID and sign in when we vote. No one minds having to do that. I just can't believe that this is an issue elsewhere! Of course, this is just par for the course with the idiot liberal 9th Circuit.
I'm sure it probably will. But as has been said, it won't be in time for November's election because many will make certain of that. Which means, another round has been won for illegals. Legal votes will have been nullified once again, due to the squirrely politicians OF ALL PARTIES that loom about Arizona and the rest of the U.S. And they think it's terribly cute to, sell us down the river, for they are just laughing all the way to the bank. However, the ultimate question is, where will they be spending eternity?
I live in IL but I am in AZ now visiting. I asked where to register on Friday after reading this news. Lady said where do you live. I said could be Sun City or Youngtown or Surprise or Peoria, depends on which side of the stree I buy a house. I thought I would register in all since I didn't need to show any ID's. Then I could show how easy it was to do voter fraud. If it weren't for getting arrested I do it. Maybe a conservative reporter should do a news story on this angle and video the story up to the 2nd polling place.
