A posting of an unredacted instant message sessions between Rep. Mark Foley and a former congressional page has apparently exposed the identity of the now 21 year-old accuser...
ABC RELEASED TRANSCRIPT OF ONE CHAT BETWEEN FOLEY AND A MAN WHO WAS 18 AT THE TIME OF THE INSTANT MESSAGE EXCHANGE.... NETWORK STATED THE MESSAGE WAS TO 'UNDER AGE' TEEN... DEVELOPING...
ABC ONLINE GLITCH LEADS TO IDENTITY OF FOLEY ACCUSER; FEATURED IM EXCHANGE WAS WITH 18 YEAR OLD

Seems to me that this young man would have quite a lawsuit against ABC.
That is certainly possible. What has to be said for an IM sent to a minor to become illegal?
LOL thanks. I had already caught it on a link a min ago. There for a minute I thought it was taboo to post it or something. It's not like the guy was raped or anything lol.
The real shame is that ABC published the IMs' and was found to have revealed a traceable identity which turned out to reveal ABC as liars (including Mr.Ross) Then they went back to their own web site (ABCs' web site) and made modifications trying, not to protect Jordon, but to coverup their own lies. But, they had already been found out.
What is it they say.....It's always the coverup which does them in.
Ping to MOgirl who is sorting through this with me
Vegetable - roots
Dairy - ice cream
Very healthy stuff.....
Oh, spare me. The scoop is that the SO-CALLED ILLEGAL IM conversations didn't happen until after the "kid" was 18 which means they weren't illegal. Nothing in that message you quoted is illegal. A little creepy? Yes, but no one has said that the guy wasn't creepy. Not a single person on this thread. What we are saying is that ABC lied about the possibly illegal sex chat being with an underage person. The "kid" was 18 when they really got into the down and dirty.
In other words, the scoop is far from "dead meat" as you labeled it.
Let's hope so. Then we can get back to the good economic news and the cut and run Rats in Iraq.
If the kids under 18 it attempted statutory rape over 18 it solicited a suborned for sex
It's neither, as the page was over the age of 16 which is the age of consent in Washington D.C.
Could be.
I don't know. After reading those IMs, I would be so disgusted that I would go on every TV network in the free world to proclaim my innocence. A charge like that simply cannot go unanswered. Unless its true, of course.
The Internet will forever be the scourge of the MSM. They just cant hide anymore.
and 4000 in other threads
This means he is still gay, but broke no laws.
The scoop is that ABC played up sex talk while waiting to vote and alluded to the former page was a minor. ABC intentionally hid this fact, so they lied about the whole facts of the case. Yes he IM him as a 17 year old with overly friendly (creepy) message(s), however, that has not been the uproar. The sex talk was and ABC and the donks flamed this. There will be significant blowback on the mnow.
Ok, I don't think I've seen the other drinking IM's. But the drinking age is still 21, not 18.
Sorry. I hit the reply button on your reply to him (oops) instead of going back to his statement (which I somehow missed).

Glad that all is well with MOguy Jr. My ms.K4Harty jr. is sound asleep finally. She's a lil' 5 mo. old. ;o)
No, there is some ambiguity about the age, since the dinner-date after the 18th birthday exchange took place while he was 17 (though the lewd exchange was apparently after he turned 18).
There is no ambiguity about the abuse of authority question: he was no longer a page. The dinner was being arranged for a return visit to Washington. He was a page in 2002 (we know this because Passionate America has identified the recipient conclusively as a member of that Page class). The exhange took place near Christmas of 2002: after Congress had adjourned. He was no longer a page.
