Wow, talk about bad press. Just saw Congressman Reynolds on Fox News that a report done by Karl (sp?) Cameron. Reynold's face was red as a beet, and he was wiping sweat off his face with a handkerchief while discussing the Foley matter.

I firmly believe that any congresscritter (-R OR -D) having knowledge of facts showing Foley committed criminal acts prior to September 27, 2006 should be prosecuted for OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE!!!

I grew up in Greece, NY, and I cannot answer that question. As I recall, we called ourselves "Rochesterians" because we were adjacent to Rochester. I can tell you that the local high schools are named Arcadia, Olympia and Athena. (No joke.) Other than that, Greece is just like the rest of upstate NY, that is, buried in snow 6 months of the year.

Fordham worked for Mel Martinez before he worked for Tom Reynolds. Before that, I have no idea who Fordham worked for. He was a fundraiser which is a favorite of the gop. They just luv their fundraisers, rangers or mavericks. Maybe this guy was a ranger.

Fordham says he resigned today to prevent his own ties to Foley from being used by Democrats in the race for Reynolds' seat in Congress.

That's a *classic* of poor phrasing.

Talk of gay staffers that covered up for Mark Foley. There are lots of gay staffers on the Hill. My guess is 10% of staffers are gay. A gay mafia protected Foley or so the talk goes. Foley never got physical with any intern rs. So his lawyer claims. Thus I don't see this as such a big deal especially with Drudge reporting the intern was 17 and 18 years old when he exchanged IMs and emails with Foley. At 17 you have to handle yourself in this world. You have to learn how to deal with Mark Foley who is far away on another computer. Not in the same room forcing sex on you.

It wasn't an expose but I read somewhere today that Reynolds is gay. He went to some one in the media and tried to have this "scandal" stopped.

He said he knew Foley's parents and thought they would be hurt to have all this come out. I believe there was more to it. I either read it here on FR or on Drudge,

If anyone has been to Greece recently, especially outside the tourist areas, this joker would not last 10 seconds. They are not "tollerant" in that old world culture. (they also have the permiated cultural view that homosexual behavior is definitly a choice)
