If ture, it sounds like the Clinton War Room up and running like Rush said. Clinton's putting those FBI files to good use.

You said, "Foley was reelected over and over again because people didn't care about his private perversions."
That's true. After all, Bill Clinton could have had sex with his dog Buddy--and the Clinton Cult would have defended him saying "Presidents' deserve a private life, too". Oh wait, Clinton used those very words once already...lol
The Clinton sycophants would have STILL voted for him.

The senator in question would be our least favorite senior senator from south carolina....I shed no tears. It'll make it easier to replace him in '08 with a conservative.

No regular Joe knew about his interest in teenagers. They just had a hunch he was gay.

Yeah, these activists are really helping their cause.I've doubled my bets on the "R"'s retaining the house and senate. Liberals are mindless idiots that never know when to quit.

So you're telling me the Democrat party is now the anti-perversion party? Well, they're pro-pervert for Democrat perverts, and anti-pervert for Republican perverts.
Neoliberalism is a mental disorder.

What's interesting about The List--which includes nine chiefs of staffs, two press secretaries, and two directors of communications--is that (if it's acucurate) it shows that some of the religious right's favorite representatives and senators have gay staffers helping them advance their political careers and agendas. These idiots REALLY think we're going to start throwing people out of office because they have gay STAFFERS?
Bring it on! LOL!

that Al Gore and Bill Bradley (in a Presidential debate) were trying to OUTDO each other--as to WHO WAS MORE 'PRO-GAY'!!!

Unfortunately, it's going to go way beyond staffers.

I don't care if he's gay. It's being gay with underage kids that I have a problem with.
You can try to separate the two issues, but for someone who has lived through the Catholic Church's sex abuse scandal, 'gay' and 'pedophile' are basically synonyms.

I thought liberals said that being a homo was sometihing to 'celebrate'. Me too. So, where do they post the list of gay Democrats?

I think this will backfire on the dems big time... I agree completely. We're in the middle of a shooting war and all the Dems want to talk about is who wants to bugger whom? They might just as well take out campaign ads proclaiming "I'm irrelevant and I'm proud!"
I won't be saying anything to them about it, though. If they want to fixate on sex at this point in the campaign it's fine by me. "Never interrupt your opponent when he is the process of making a mistake."
It's such an enormous blunder, though, that I have to suspect...dare I say it? Roooooooooooooovvvvvvvve!!!!
To: Dianna
Doesn't it make the elected officials look good having gay staffers? I mean, it shows diversity and no prejudice in hiring?
This will backfire. The fact that it is staffers alone anyway shows this bombshell article fizzled.

Apparently we did mind. Foley is out..gone..resigned..finished!
I would not have minded that he was gay, but to send nasty IM's to a 16 year old I did mind. I don't care if it is legal or not. A 50 year old man sending that type of IMs to a 16 year old is not right.....So if had been sending IMs to a 30 year old man the outcome would have BEEN COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and he would probably still be reelected in November instead of in an alcohol rehab place.

And to think that it wasn't THAT LONG AGO,,, that Al Gore and Bill Bradley (in a Presidential debate) were trying to OUTDO each other--as to WHO WAS MORE 'PRO-GAY'!!! And, what was one of Clinton's first presidential actions? (Hint -- military.)

That's your opinion....I kinda have my doubts...by all the trash being put out right now against Republicans...the public is seeing right through it and are becoming even more turned off by the left and the dimwits. [the dimwits can NO longer win an election by votes so this is what we get]
OBTW, I live in Texas NOT Florida...however, if I had lived in his district and he was the only republican on the ballot for that seat...I may have had to hold my nose to vote for him...however, I'd have NEVER voted for a dimwit...and I'd have voted for him...

No regular Joe knew about his interest in teenagers. They just had a hunch he was gay. First off, everyone KNEW he was gay -- it was just polite not to say so because he hadn't admitted it yet -- hell, has he even admitted it yet?!?
Secondly, what do gays do? They go after teenage boys. Not all of them, but a high enough percentage that it's not safe to let them be around children. See: Boy Scouts, The.

I completely agree. Foley's conduct went beyond just being gay, which I'm sure is the reason they asked for his resignation.

but let's face it, alot of conservatives cannot separate opposition to the gay political agenda (marriage, adoption, school curriculum, etc), from simply "not liking" gays. The left knows this is a button they can push, and hopes conservatives will be asking for some kind of "gay purge" of the party. I think the conservatives are a lot smarter than that. Some conservatives might think the way you say...but most, in my opinion, have no overt fear or loathing of gays. We'll see.
