WASHINGTON (AP) - The human resources director of The Washington Times has been arrested on charges of soliciting a teenager for sex on the Internet.
D.C. police say 53-year-old Randall Casseday of Dobbs Ferry, New York, was arrested Tuesday night in Northeast Washington. He had allegedly arranged to meet what he believed was a 13-year-old girl he had been corresponding with in an online chat room. The person he was communicating with was a detective with the department's Internet Crimes Against Children branch.
Casseday, who rents a room in the Washington area, was charged with attempted enticement of a minor and was due to appear Thursday in U.S. District Court.

ROTFL! Just barely caught my coffee in time before I spewed it all over my monitor!
It's New Sodom.
This is called......................... (The Washington Times) is COMPROMISED!
Well, this makes the SECOND time I have been flamed for being a Leftie or a troll in two weeks! Both times by people who apparently can't appreciate a sense of irony, or a sense of inquiry, or the (apparently missed) humor of talking in a false voice to make an ironic point. I really had better go back to being earnest and literal-minded. Or at least only visit threads where the subject lends itself to comedy or satire.
I was thinking they were be a handful of this cases to pop up that we didn't know about.
I thougth the response was "We need to see her to see if she is guilty".
I guess only those of us with a sense of irony and humor get it, eh? Or perhaps it's because we have a keen sense of "inquiry" that we understand just what you're up to here and where you truly need to go 'back to.'
ibtz?
SIR--- my remarks were done in the same humorous spirit as #2 and #25 on this thread, just to pull a few examples. But YOU seem to know something I do not know. Or are capable of some deep analytical mining of my words to unearth a secret, and gee, maybe even subconscious sympathy for a Lefty point of view that I can't control in my more vulnerable moments. This is all very funny!
While I may not quite like GW Bush as much as you do , as per yr. FR page, I do like him, and I like him a LOT more than virtually ANYONE in the other party/ But sir, this is the last time I will let my little fingers type away in a vain effort to explain myself or justify myself to you. And calling me a Newbie-----why does that remind me of things that would happen to Freshman perpetrated by Sophomores when I went to High School 30 years ago! You know, pushing the "Froshie" up against the wall lockers, and forcefully applying lipstick to his face? Kind of bullying tactics if you ask me. Or even if you don't ask me.
You're a bright one, you are...........hehe............
Don't go telling the teacher on me now, OK?
(btw, your 'humor' is just as confused as you are......)
Karl Rove set him up ! /s
Just for the record...........if you want to be taken seriously around here, don't go making irrational comments like this one.
And when you show the depth of thought of a liberal, don't be surprised if people around here think you ARE a liberal.
So far nothing you've said has indicated that you aren't. You can start any time. We're listening.......
Sir---you simply don't get it. Leave me alone. Go away. Do some reading. Try to fall out of love with yourself as some all-knowing arbiter of the political issues of the day.Grow a sense of perspective. Get a job. Do whatever it might take to enjoy life, but leave me out of it. And, most importantly, do NOT post replies to people on threads who didn't address anything to YOU. ALL you flamers have a habit of doing that. It's 4 for 4. My original comment was NOT to you, but for some reason you jumped right on it.
NOW--please re-read all of the above, and have a good day.
Leave you alone?? This is a public internet forum (conservative, btw, unlike you), and when you post idiocy, you need to be prepared to defend what you've said.
Now, stop feeling sorry for yourself, be a man and try to defend your position, or find some other more appropriate forum and whine there.....
On Free Republic we don't go around saying things we can't back up and then crying when people call us on it.
Tony Blankley RESIGN!!
No, is someone finally running against him? Please don't get my hopes up. Even I considered a run against him back in February. Honestly.
I'm married with four kids, have two jobs, volunteer at the Salvation Army AND am a conservative political activist (working on two campaigns including Ken Blackwell's.......you wouldn't know him, he's conservative).
My life is wonderful and full, and I'm smart enough to spot a phony on this forum from a mile away.
You were a piece of cake.
