WASHINGTON TIMES ON TUESDAY WILL CALL FOR SPEAKER HASTERT'S RESIGNATION, NEWSROOM SOURCES TELL DRUDGE... DEVELOPING... Editorial titled: 'Resign, Mr. Speaker': 'House Speaker Dennis Hastert must do the only right thing, and resign his speakership at once... Mr. Hastert has forfeited the confidence of the public and his party, and he cannot preside over the necessary coming investigation, an investigation that must examine his own inept performance'... -- Washington Times, October 3, 2006...
Agree 100%.
Maybe it's the lost computer in the Karr case.
Which if thee are more IMs from other people shows more of an effort that teen boys. Something smells and I am sure the feds are following the popcorn trail as we speak.
I agree. This was pulled too early, so there is time to show the rats, the party of jackasses, hid these IMs, thus potentially putting further children at risk from a predator.
If he were one of theirs, the Dem PR machine would be milking the "He's a sick man; he needs help. He's doing something about it, so we shouldn't kick him while he is down." angle for all it's worth.
Who said that?
It's that simple, and if you don't care for democratic forms and traditions in a republic of free people, I can recommend some nifty little police states where you'd be much more comfortable.
Yeee-hawwww! I'm gonna load up some trendy conservatives friends, and we're gonna git ourselves some Re-pub-li-cuns tonight! We'll shine the headlights of truth into their beady little rich eyes, and poke 'em with sticks 'til they collapse into big heaps of sobbin' ex-Bush supporters.
bttt
I am praying you are correct that the Dems are overplaying this hand.
The Washington Times coming out for Hastert to resign is playing right into the Dems hand. Disgusting.
There's a feel about this that makes me think it will somehow blow up in the Democrats face soon. Can't quite put my finger on it yet. Possibly because of Dems intensity over it. Dems are pushing to hard and too fast especially since they gleefully represent a substantial number of perverts.
And some are not. Even so, why save them for 3 years and make them public 4 weeks before an election? I'm not defending Creepy Foley and I'm not blaming the victim. It is a little bit too convenient, though.
> So, for anybody to think the emails were exceptionally "creepy" they'd already had to have knowledge of the Instant Messages.
Any parent seeing these emails would know they were creepy without any knowledge of the IMs.
"By all accounts the emails between Foley and the page were fairly innocuous, asking questions about vacations, how ya doin', etc. The IMs were sexual in nature and are from three years ago."
When a 50yo gay man (and, by the way, everybody on Capitol Hill knew Foley was gay) starts sending emails to 16yo boys asking for pictures, it's time to ask some serious questions. The emails were very odd.
I guess they forgot being taught by their mommas "if you do not have anything positive to say, do not say anything at all."
We would all be smart to prepare to defend ourselves for when the inevitable Beslan-style massacres start popping up at various and sundry places across the nation in light of the Democrat Party's "Retreat in Defeat" anti-terrorism "strategy" gets implemented by the new pacifist-gay-femino Congress.
Bush and Rumsfeld have done an amazing job protecting us. Hastert has done his part by getting the necessary legislation passed to fight this war. Now fair weather conservatives want to eat him alive for something he did not know about.
Talk about cutting off one's nose to spite one's face. This is beyond insane.
