Yeah, alcohol did it.
THAT's the ticket.

If he thinks this will get him sympathy, he needs to think again.
Our party doesn't do that.

Did he drop Ted Kennedy's name to get a discount and better service?

I've been as drunk as the next guy, but I never tried to proposition the next guy.

I wonder if his membership to NAMBLA is up to date.

Many people do. Unfortunately the courts tend to tie all things to drug and alcohol use.

Wait a minute...that NJ Governor did the same thing, and he's on Oprah! And a Rep who was a Kennedy relation did rehab, and he's already off the media radar with a nod for forgiveness because of what he's been through. Do I smell...a double standard?

As a Conservative, I see this as a cheap way to try to dodge responsibility.
What will interest me is if the Democrats also indicate that they see this as a cheap way to try to dodge responsibility. 'Cause the Kennedy's do this all the time.

Foley gives alcoholism a bad name.
To: gopwinsin04
That's interesting. I always thought he looked soused during his TV interviews. No wonder he always came off as an idiot.
To: gopwinsin04
Is he sure it wasn't poker that made him do it?
To: 50sDad
Maybe he can get a job with Jesse Jackson's Rainbow group
with a desk next to Mel Reynolds.

Shame the leadership didn't pressure him harder to resign months ago before this scandal became public. Hard to keep something like this a secret. This very well may likely cost us a seat in a close election season.
To: ClearCase_guy
Nancy Pelosi would be wise to back off from this one.
Clinton's been there.
