This is a video of a brave Arab woman speaking passionately against violent Muslims on Al-Jazeera TV. I'm surprised they allowed her to speak and I wonder if she is still alive today.
There have been several posts about this woman -- if I'm not mistaken she lives in the U.S.
She passed away in the last month. Nothing violent - cancer, if I remember.
Oh, I thought the woman who passed away was Italian --
I could be confused - Google's not turning up a hit. I'm sure someone will correct me :)
I believe you're thinking of Italian journo and virulant anti Muzzie, Orianna Falacci. She was immensely fierce.
Oriana Fallaci?
Wafa Sultan is vocal. She describes herself as a 'secularist', rather than Islamic.
Oriana was superb!
you are right, a search using "wafa" shows 30 previous posts on this brave woman.

If every person who disagrees with "them" spoke out as strongly as she does, perhaps they would go slinking back to obscurity.
It is unfortunate that this woman will not be paid attention to by the male speices of the Arab world.
She was, wasn't she? There was a thread re: an article that I believe Victor Davis Hanson wrote regarding her passing. We lost a good one, and a true soldier.
Very good. Thanks for the additional links.
If you listen to the links posted in #10, it sounds as though she has received a tremendously positive response from the Arab world. Maybe there is a "silent majority" who agree with her but have been afraid to speak.

Thanks for responding. I did listen to the interview. Unfortunately the the political climate and those in charge will not listen to reason. If my memory serves me correctly, the only woman that the Arabs would pay any attention was Golda Meir. And that reason was that she commanded the power to kick their collective a$$e$$.
